    He would compete with Abada on the right, and could also fill in as an attacking 8 when needed. Also can compete on the left if needed.

    Would be ideal if he was there to directly compete with Abada, but basically all of his goals and assists have come from the left.

    LW/LM - 101 games, 31 goals, 28 assists
    RW/RM - 25 games, 1 goal, 2 assists

    Just need to wait and see what Ange has planned for the wings I guess. It seems like they’re all just competing against each other for the 2 spots rather than specific players battling for left and right.

    According to the Swedish journalist (there’s a clip on here somewhere) he plays on the left, cutting in mostly as he is right footed. Can play on tight but far less effective. He also said he will need time to settle but has lots of potential.
    I wonder if this is Ange future planning coming to the fore?

    Don't think he'd be as effective of the right, I agree. Especially when you watch that interview with the Swedish journo he seems to think he's definitely a left sided player.

    Let's be honest, good chance Jota is gone in a year, if he looks half decent in Europe anyway. Having someone gelled with the squad ready to step in isn't bad.

    Love the forward planning of our manager!!!! He can see Jota potentially leaving and gets a replacement in early doors to give him a chance to settle. Same as he did with O’Reily (to replace Rogic) but he had a great start to his career.

    Sead Haksabanovic's move to Celtic is all but over the line.

    The Rubin Kazan winger has been in Glasgow this week and Football Scotland can reveal the switch is pretty much done.

    It is expected the Montenegrin will complete the move this week.

    Obviously he wont see out that 5 year deal but I expect to have him here for two years of it, tbh then sold with 3 years remaining.

    Definitely don’t want to sell him but since this is his 2nd season with us it wouldn’t be a massive surprise. Hopefully he stays longer, we will see.

    Celtic do want the CL money in before transfer deadline tho. That way if we sell him then too late the money is in!!
