Giorgos Giakoumakis

The Yak, deserves his shot. The guy for me offers so much more in the front line. Can play back to goal propper old fashioned forward play, he gets on the end of crosses and is lethal in the box. Said to my mate, guaranteed he will get as many chances and score in 19 mins that kyogo got in 70mins. For me hes our number one striker.

 

It’s a tough choice who to start, Kyogos energy and pressing is brilliant and he keeps on scoring. Where as GG will bully defences and hold up the ball far better.

GG has to start against the huns though, he will bully the * out of them.

 

Him and Kyogo could just match each other for goals all season. Both so different but so good.

 

I think Kyogo starts.

But GG bullying them for 60 minutes and then Kyogo on to run them ragged… all with dealing with Maeda and Jota for the game. Ooft.

 

I totally agree, he is a goal machine. He has every attribute you’d want from a centre forward, including a phenomenal work ethic. In my humble opinion, he deserves to start. I wish Ange would play Kyogo in behind him, I know it would sacrifice a strong midfield player but I think it would be worth a try, getting both of them on the pitch in the same game at the same time. Could be special.

 

His goals to minutes ratio must be insane.

 

Seems to be Kyogo to tire them out, and jacko to come on and knock them over

 

With one minute left in added time I genuinely thought “Giakoumakis is going to score here”. He is so goal hungry and always seems to get chances.

 

The whole Giakoumakis or Kyogo to start really gives me mixed emotions. I am glad it isn't my decision to make every weekend. What is good is Giakoumakis seems to level Kyogos goals every weekend with less minutes.

From a goalscoring only prospective, Giakoumakis is the better option. Kyogo just gives so much though. Real mixed emotions when assessing it. Both are incredible

 

These two trying to outdo each other for goals is exactly what we need upfront

 

Lethal.

 

Think him and Abada deserve to start some of the games. Wouldn't weaken the team and would be a reward for their displays this season when they've come on and their contribution last season. I think they're fine for now but might get restless if they think they're not appreciated or not getting what they deserve. Same with Ralston tbh.

 

They will get their opportunity. Won't be 1 match a week for much longer

Such a hard choice. He will defo play all our CL games away from home, he is far better holding up the ball than Kyogo.

The wee man is insane with his movement and runs in behind defences, I do think GG is a different option with his height and strength...... cant believe we are having such a discussion from this time last year...

 

Must be a brutal but great problem for Ange to select one over the other. GG should definitely be getting more minutes though. I love the *. I'd * him with my * cheeks.
