Thanks Pete, is it usual for different breeds to mix and not be part of a flock?

It is mostly Feral Geese that mix breed. Sometimes though Feral or domestic Geese and mix breed and also sometimes 2 different Wild species can mix breed. But generally Wild Geese only breed with their own species.
Geese tend to flock or gang around with their own species, though at times several species can be close together.
Often Feral or escapee Species latch on to Wild Species for Company and yes escapees can sometimes interbreed with Wild or Feral Species.
This is why sometimes we see quite strange looking geese that are mixed breeds Johnie:50:

If people looked at their surroundings more often Johnie, they'd realise that all wildlife and nature would make their day. The world would be a better place.

Can finally say with confidence that I’ve found a balance in my reef. Everything seems to be flourishing, the best sign of a stable marine tank is coraline algae growing on the back surface. If that’s growing then any other inhabitants will follow suit. Tank is just under a year old and it’s took that long to get all parameters in check. Been a long and educational ride C19FBE38-4CD9-47C5-844B-2FF6201FE554.jpeg

Thanks Johnie, if all goes well these corals will be with me my whole life. They can live up to 5000 years and could already be a few 1000 years old. I’m just a passer by in their life line
