    Obviously haven’t ever seen him play, but Transfermarkt has him down as a DM which would be ideal.

    I mentioned it in the Non-Meida thread that he missed/wasn’t used in quite a few games towards the end of the season, which I suppose might be due to his issues with manager that the Tweet further up mentioned.

    You dont think our style of play requires a deep lying playmaker?

    We need someone to do atleast part of what McGregor does but with more physicality in my view

    Never heard of him, much less seen him play. Honest question: If he's good enough to play for Celtic, how come he has played only once for North Macedonia? He'll become 23 in a couple of months. With all due respect, it's not like North Macedonia is a powerhouse of international football.

    Anyway, love his physical profile. We could have a use for a 6'2'' defensive midfielder. Ange's philosophy reminds me of Klopp's gegenpressing. Hopefully, Atanasov will become our Fabinho: a towering defensive midfielder who's surrounded by 2 industrious box-to-box players (McGregor, Hatate).

    I've not seen much of this - just one comment from someone saying they're surprised we're signing him, that he's an average Hadjuk level. Also seen a few of their fans gushing about him. Don't really know what to expect tbh, but at this point I trust Ange.
