15 year old girl replaces Arnold and takes out 11 French hunters in a two minute karate fest. 0/10 (pish)

Really enjoyed the film , a decent story regarding how the USA treats adopted refugees.
    Justin Chon is excellent.

Just watched the new Thor movie - Love and Thunder and it was absolutely gash. Tried to be funny but wasn't and was just plain silly throughout. Don't know if the producer was maybe trying to mimic the Iron Man type humour but this film certainly didn't succeed

Watched Elvis last night, absolutely * superb!

That young fella who played Elvis, worthy of an Oscar.

Tom Hanks was good as the old fat Dutch guy, even if he sounded Irish at times.

Outstanding, and obviously the soundtrack speaks for itself!

    Why don't you just die.

Bonkers but toally brilliant movie with more than a nod towards Tarantino and Guy Ritchie.

13 Lives, was a bit boring I thought. Good rescue story and great they managed to save them obviously but was glad when the movie was over.

    Nope

Not really my cup of tea... I get what they were trying to do, in a sci-fi take on being fascinated watching on to something horrifying unfolding in the same way of watching a car crash happening... or rather in this case a undefined alien/s (presumably). Has its moments but has it's pacing issues and easily could've been trimmed by 15min, and didn't really do much for me.,, Although, maybe I missed something but I couldn't tell you why it's called Nope, lol.

I really enjoyed it, not often they get remakes right but it was good. Though I think I mostly liked it because of the dog in it. 7/10

    Moonfall

Starts off with a decent idea of an armageddon type film but quickly turns to *, the random car chases and * where there is no need. 1/10

    Dayshift

First vampire film seen since Blade, it’s neither a good vampire action or comedy action, * knows what its trying to be. Got bored of it halfway through. 4/10

Up in the air. Clooney and Anna Kendrick. Enjoyed it. Think Anna Kendrick's smile is just plain beautiful.

Elvis, slow burner for me. But, was a really good movie. Good insight into his early life and growing up. Didn't realise the hate towards him from the hierarchy at the time, interesting stuff.

The fella who played him was superb and as pointed out the soundtrack was immense.

    Midsommar.

Good movie but a bit too long, Aster certainly has an eye for horror, previous movie was Hereditary.

    Wind River.

Thriller with Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Elizabeth Olsen as a game tracker and FBI agent respectively, working together to solve the murder case of a local Native girl found in the snow covered mountains.

The kind of movie I like in terms of no over the top theatrics or any sort of CGI (which have their place to be fair), just a realistic story with some moving dialogue and fantastic scenery.

    8/10
