    Maeda and Jota are absolutely rapid, and Abada isn't slow either, so we definitely have pace on the wings already. Don't think Haskobanovic looks slow per say, maybe same speed as Elyounoussi/Roberts?

    Basically in Fifa terms
    Maeda 93 pace
    Jota 91 pace
    Abada 84 pace
    Haskobanovic 79 pace

    CELTIC are eyeing a move for Rubin Kazan winger Sead Haksabanovic.

    And they could land the £6million-rated Montenegro ace for a knockdown fee.

    Haksabanovic, 23, will quit the relegated Russian club this month. He’s currently training alone in his native Sweden and has no desire to return to Russia.

    Reports at home claim the former West Ham forward now has his heart set on a move to Parkhead.

    He joined Rubin for £6m from IFK Norrkoping last July on a five-year deal.

    He teamed up with Carl Starfelt in Russia before the defender’s £4m move to Celtic.

    But Haksabanovic left the country in the wake of the Ukraine invasion, with Fifa suspending his Rubin contract.

    He joined Djurgarden on loan in March, but that deal ended in June.

    The Swedes have given up hope of a return amid interest across Europe.

    Sporting director Bosse Andersson said: “There are certainly other options he will consider. It’s a difficult position he’s in.”

    With the transfer window closing in two weeks, Rubin could accept a reduced fee or a loan-to-buy agreement.

    Haksabanovic was at West Ham between 2017 and 2020 but never kicked a ball in the Premier League for the East London club

    Celtic are monitoring Sead Haksabanovic as they look to bolster their attacking options.

    The Hoops have kept an eye on the Rubin Kazan winger and have had him watched a number of times with a view to potentially swooping for his services. Football Scotland understands that the Scottish champions have looked at the Swedish playmaker as an option this summer with European football in the Champions League guaranteed. The player, 23, is believed to be interested in the move and there have been rumours of a transfer fee being reduced to accommodate Haksabanovic and his desire to leave


    We told how Ange Postecoglou was in the market for more faces at Parkhead this summer having already brought in the likes of Jota, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Daizen Maeda on permanent deals as well as Alexandro Bernabei and Aaron Mooy. Moritz Jenz was also brought in on loan and Ben Siegrist on a free.



    Haksabanovic has been training alone as he plots a move out of Russia following his £6million move to Kazan back in 2021.

    He played on loan at Djurgardens most recently but is still on the lookout for a new club.

    He notched two goals in 11 games on loan in his native country.

    Aye very interesting if he can play the 8 position as well as out wide..

    In a couple of clips it looked like he was a centre mid..

    We could do with another 8 with that ability...who could also cover the wing's..

    Looks quite box to box in this game. This is just one game though so i'm not sure how many times he's filled in at this position or if this is a one off. But seems comfortable in there.

    If he signs will this mean Mooy is only used as a 6 from here on out? He came on there against Killie and McGregor pushed forward, and he looked more comfortable.
