People on this forum have lost friends and family members as a result of drink driving.

It’s possible to be happy to give the boy a second chance without simultaneously being a Grade A * about it.

Yes he * up and yes I sympathise with anyone who has lost loved ones through drink driving but these morally superior arseholes are being 'Grade A *' by hanging the guy out to dry - please dont tell me theyve all lost loved ones from drink driving - I will say it again - * Off

No doubt they will ask Ange about Bernabei at his pre match press conference, but I doubt he will say anything on it. If they push too hard on it, I think Ange will bite their head off.

But it will be interesting to see whether Bernabei is in the match day squad.

Exactly how is he being hung out to dry?

Because an online forum with 1000's of members maybe 1 or 2 who've experienced direct loss as a result are suggesting he should be punted?

Get over yourself...there is no excusing drink driving in today's age.

I think the majority on here have been fair in their criticism of the lad being a grade A stupid * for putting himself in the situation and is deserving of appropriate punishment.

If anything what is probably hitting the nerves of those who've experienced consequences of drink driving is the trivialising by some on the subject as trying to explain it away and downplay the severity of the crime by making suggestions that he's either 21...new to the country or that he didn't hurt anyone.

Oh for fucksake - 'Celtic warrior'; I take it you're a Social justice warrior too; you seem like the type - 'downplay the severity of the crime'; the punishment fits the crime; lets not be * silly about this theres not even a suggestion he will go to jail for this but nevermind any of that eh - Burn the witch! Burn the witch! Burn the witch!

You are just full of joy.

You can read through my posts in this thread and see my clear stance on the matter.

I don't want him punted, I'm happy to see him work on his redemption and I can imagine Ange has the aura around him to put the fear of * in Bernabei by just staring at him...

But you know...if you want to deny others on this forum their very deep personal lived experiences on this matter that forms a strong emotional opinion....crack on buddy.

Freedom of speech an all works both ways.

    Let the people sign
Aye I want him hung out to dry, punted and sent to * back to Argentina
Also I agree not everyone has lost a loved one to drink driving
But see when you’ve lost a child to a drink driver then your * off attitude stinks and ranks up there with the most Hunnish behaviour
Perhaps you should consider other peoples circumstances before running yer gob off
‘I sympathise with anyone who has lost a loved one through drink driving’ enough of your pish and faux sympathy cos you wouldn’t be saying * off if you knew or had sympathy for anyone suffering a loss through reckless criminal behaviour

He's off to a Bolongoli start. The left back position is cursed.

If only he had the attitude and temprement of Scottish brave heart Greg Taylor. Who's off to a superb start to his Celtic season. Play it again Greg. There's only one left back that deserves to play in the Champions League such as the Bernabeu. It's Greg Taylor.

Not Bernabei. A 21 year old thug from Argentina with no professionalism and scant regard for the safety of women and children on the road.

I suspect we won't see him feature all season.

Can’t understand your position here at all. You seem to have a real issue with some of us expressing our disgust at drink drivers.
I think that drink driving is a needless offense that puts others at risk and deserves severe punishment to deter others from doing it.
    What’s your problem with that?
