Drink driving is inexcusable. What ever happens at court happens. He takes and gets his head down. Thankfully no persons were hurt.

Can see Ange going both ways with this. Raging, giving him a bollocking. But ending with with a calming this is a huge learning point as *. Don't let it happen again...or else!!!

Hopefully he gets his head down and grafts and wises up to this opportunity he has, and never does anything like that again.

 

I think the point is anyone wanting him punted for it should also want McGregor punted, otherwise it’s a grossly hypocritical position and should be ignored.

In my opinion he should be heavily fined, dropped from the squad for a short time and he should take whatever punishment the law gives, but after that it should be forgiven and we should move on.

However "early hours" normaly means around 2am as folk are leaving clubs.

Unstand he's not getting a game but I don't think players should be drinking at all during the season.
A first team career lasts about 12 years, there's plenty of time to get smashed after that
