Unbelievable the progress he’s made under Ange.

First name on the team sheet just now.

The best midfielder in Scotland even though he only plays there part time

Had a great start to the season. I'm impressed with how far he's come along.

He has started this season like a different player. At least afford him the chance to see if he can keep it up. If he had been amazing last summer before Europe you might have a point but he didn’t, and you don’t.

Also, imagine coming in here to comment on him and manage to drop in a comment about last season and a * night for us. Kudos.

Agreed mate. After Jota, Kyogo, McGregor, CCV and Hart, he’s the first name on the team sheet :giggle1:

I'm happy he's turned around a lot of doubters in our support. GT has been performing on a consistantly high level since March and he deserve all the praise he gets. His eye for a pass is great and movement off the ball is smart. He doesn't shy away from a challenge either. He's a perfect fit for Angeball.

That’s very nice words from Jota. Class that! Taylor was almost gonna shed a tear I think.

Another brilliant performance by him. So calm at the back when under pressure, rarely loses it these days.

I’m fully aware of when I’m posting something controversial. I’m just no gonny hop aboard the love-in because it’s the in thing. Taylor’s problem has never been in these games, and in my opinion, it’s good to keep that in mind.

He's without doubt the player who, out of everyone at the club, understands his role in Ange's system best. Phenomenal improvement.

Aside from being really good going forward, some really tidy, skillful play at the back at times to relieve pressure or make a bit of space and start an attack. Bernabei has been alright since he's arrived and sure he'll improve in time but Taylor is first choice LB for me, quite easily.

Really love how he drifts inside and demands the ball. He wants it! That ball for maeda was *!
Phenomenal last few games. Keep it up wee man.

Good shout but to be fair the system benefits him immensely and I've always thought that. Even at the start of last season, the signs were there. He compliments the system too so it works both ways.

I don't think he really kicked on until the end of last season though. At the start of the campaign and just after he came back from injury he was still putting in some pretty poor performances. He really introduced himself in the 3-0 zombie game imo.

He's a lot braver on the ball now in terms of beating the opposition press. I've noticed that he dribbles A LOT more out of difficult situations, trying a wee flick or body feint etc. He literally never did that before. Looks a bit stronger and quicker too.

I'm not gonna lie and say I don't fear for him in Europe still, but he's improved so much in all the areas I was looking for previously. For that, deserves a lot of praise.

Those who are surprised at his rise to prominence now never watched him at killie.

He has a great attitude. Still has his limitations but wont let us down.

    Yep.
Taylor was very good at Kilmarnock.
That is why we signed him. He had big boots to fill in replacing Tierney.
But he is making his mark now. And I think Ange absolutely trusts him to carry out
his instructions on the park to the letter. Our defence is fine now.
But I still think we have much work to do in our midfield before the Hun game
    and Champions League.
