    An incredible take, to put it mildly.

    2 goals (including a cracker away at Bayer Leverkusen) and 2 assists in 5 Europa League games last season suggests you're way off the mark.

    If Maeda is struggling against inferior domestic teams but will perform against much better European teams…… Absolutely confused the * out of me there.

    Need a playmaker who can open up defences, creating chances and getting goals. Jota all day long.

    Some of Maeda’s passing yesterday would have been punished against top class opponents.

    Heading towards an absolutely crazy season I'm numbers of goals and assists if he continues at anything close to this rate.

    What’s even scarier is, it isn’t like we have had two easy games either. Aberdeen are my pick for third this year and I think Ross County will take points off bigger teams at their ground.

    We have a tough spell coming up, away to Killie and Dundee United and then home to Hearts and the Huns. You take 12 points from them 4 games and we will be flying. What Jota can do against the likes of Livingston, St Mirren and Motherwell, scary thought for they guys.

    Not been online since the game, but christ, how good is this boy. I think he'll have as good a season as we're likely to see from any player here in years to come. No doubt in my mind he's the most talented we've had since Van Dijk.
