A bit worried about how laboured he looks after about the 40 minute mark. Also not convinced he has the heart for Scottish football. Fantastic player technically but still some big question marks for me.

 

Rewatched his moments from the Aberdeen game. Played well imo and made a few sublime passes and didn't give too much away. Him and O'Riley were involved in nearly everything good in that 1st half.

Should maybe carry the ball a bit more when he's got tons of space and no players closing him down though.

 

Not really surprising when you see how much running he done, he runs himself into the ground every game. He 100% has the heart since he never gives up, every game he plays he gets kicked the * out of but will still keep going.

 

Hes great technically but as game goes on he seems to tire and gets overrun we need some steel in there

 

Lovely player on his game but I don't think he's ever going to be that 90min box to box midfielder like if Calmac was playing number 8. Been said many times before but Calmac there and a proper CDM for tougher games but doesn't seem like Ange agrees.

Thought he was doing fine in the match....then that tackle happened where he gets clipped hard in his spine and just seemed to knock him off his game after.

 

This is the big thing for me... He's got talent to burn, but he's just not used to getting the hammer thrower treatment, with zero protection, that we get every single game in Scotland. Add in the agenda in play about him diving, so they can justify it all, and he's either gonna toughen up fast or have a torrid time here... It's bullshit, but just what it is here!

 

That * tackle which was basically an elbow straight to the base of his spine was an absolute joke.

Hatate and O'Riley I thought were bossing the game together in midfield up until that point.

 

Just another reason why we need a mean tackler in the midfield.

Many a time you’d see Scott Brown taking opposition players down a peg by telling them they’d be getting it right back, after they snapped one of our players.
