    Was a good win 2-0 and we already know how good guy’s like kyogo, hatate oriley Maeda can be, just a bit of an off day even big Gg when he came on looking a bit frustrated,mooy looks like a Lennon type player , not blessed with great pace but can read a game well , break up the play and sprayed a few nice passes

    Two great goals by Welsh and Jota, who will score more like that as long as he keeps the ball low .

    Welsh was impressive today, especially with that driving forward run and pass to the left late in the second half.

    A solid win- not overwhelming, but the defense looked fine, and we're sorted for spectacular stuff as long as we have Jota.

    Just hope Hatate's not wrecked. Poor guy even put a mouth guard- didn't help much? :38:

    Good win, scrappy but to be expected for the first competitive game of the season.

    Taylor and Welsh were decent today, Jota is gonna be sensational.

    Also only got busted faking injury due to me answering 'Indian' to the wife when she asked what I wanted for dinner. Got the look then 'if your no well a curry's no gonna help your belly'

    Never really got out of first gear and strolled it most of the game. There’s so many positions up for grabs as well so the competition between players will help massively.

    Definitely want to see GG starting from now, just a much better option overall. Welsh and Taylor were excellent, both have improved a lot on the ball and now very comfortable in the system.

    Aberdeen look like they have added a lot of pace, reckon they’ll surprise a lot of teams this year.

    Loved the game today, we could have scored more and at times our passing wasn't great but the atmosphere was great....pre-match build up songs were great, especially Grace, it was immense I thought.

    The Bhoys were up in the corner behind me....it was good having them there, it encouraged those around me that don't normally sing to join it.

    That was Aberdeen's fifth competitive game. They've not conceded yet and scored a combined 12.

    They were probably the hardest fixture you could've picked to start the title defence.

    Delighted with the three points.

    Our first month is going to be tough looking at the fixture lists. Theirs is easy for sure. We need to pick up maximum and hope they drop something knowing that they have to face much harder teams/trickier away games afterwards.
