At first last night (albeit I was half pished) when I heard the name Lawwell being mentioned for chairman, I thought they had went mental and were putting Mark Lawwell in that seat.

Waking up this morning now seeing it’s * Pistol Pete in the running, my first thought was “* me”

Positives? I suppose he was possibly the main player during out most successful period in the club’s domestic history. I’m assuming the chairman wouldn’t have any proper direct say on what happens on the football pitch so that might be a bonus

    Negatives! It’s * Peter Lawwell

Michael Nicholson is the guy that's been doing the transfer negotiations. He's been backing Ange. He's spend more money than Lawell did in 20 years in a single season. Ange Postecoglou is Michael Nicholson's success story. As far as my understanding goes.

Lawwell coming in to interfere is bad news. He just wants to rake another million out of Celtic a year. The guy left on sour grapes and shouldn't return.

He smells the Champions League money. The Celtic mafia. Coming to tie one hand behind Ange Postecoglous back financially.

As long as we’re at least a point ahead of Sevco, folk will be welcoming back the ‘best CEO in football’ and a man ‘we’re lucky to have’.

Wonder what his first move will be - empowering Sevco or chasing Ange?

No. He is a major shareholder in the club.

His resignation as CEO was a deflection tactic done in order to take the heat off of Lennon and the abject failure that was the 10iar shitshow season.

Peter Lawell. Coming to knee cap Ange. Coming to tie his hands behind his back. Bernard Higgins better not drop the soap in the prison showers. Peter Lawwell might offer him the job.

Lawell doesn't pay for suits. The suits are on the house. Or the house burns down.

I give it until August next year until Ange is being called a ‘rat’ and Strachan is in the papers telling us how Lawwell rejected Arsenal years ago.

Not really a fan of him coming back but I think he would be better than bankier . Hated bankier from day one and should never have been near our club.

No he's been here the whole time, people getting over the top raging at his 'return' now weren't paying attention, he still had a place on the board after he stepped down as CEO.

I don’t think he was here last summer, as we wouldn’t have gotten all the deals done.

He did leave Celtic Park wearing a club tie at the final game of last season, however.
