Proper Cushy Number…. He will be Sat on The bench all season raking in £££££££££ and only having to even warm up for a handful of games at most.

    Kerching!

From what I have seen of Lloris over the past year or so I would (trying to put my personal bias aside) rate Forster as a better keeper right now.

He was in the England squad this season.
If they had come 5th I think he would have played European games but not a chance in Champions league. It's an odd choice but I don't blame any player who wants to do that rather than play in the Championship or in a relegation scrap in the premiership.

If I was a goalie I'd prefer being at a bottom of table club - more to do...! :86::67:

He'll play less there then he did with Southampton...but nevertheless it's still a good move for the C.V.

Not that it means much for him at his age now having spurs on there.

Could see Conte giving him domestic cup ties to deal with as to rest Lloris for Europe and prem league games.

Happy for him but feel like it’s a career wasted really. Maybe just a style that’s not popular as much anymore but if he was around 2000 -2010 instead his shot stopping ability would be getting lauded as World Class. Because it is.

Watching some of his highlights for us. Unbelievable some of the saves he pulled off. By * do we need a new GK in and the sooner the better

Best gk of my lifetime. Boruc was class but Forster edges it for me. Some amount of penalties he must have saved while here as well.

Should be ahead of Lloris who has cost Spurs points

I stuck with big Artur for a long time in this debate, simply because of his character and the fact he hates the huns. Still would say he's my favourite.

But big Forster edges it on who was the best overall. Some phenomenal performances for us.

At his best Boruc was better, there was a spell for 18 months where he was probably in the top 3 keepers in Europe. Unfortunately he was unprofessional as * and turned into a bit of a waster.

In terms of consistency and professionalism Forster beats him hands down. Seen him recently however and he looks ropey at best, seasons wasting away on good money to warm a bench look to have caught up with him.

I think for a small time Boruc reached a higher peak, especially due to the fact he had benefit of being No.1 for Poland.

But my *, some of the performances I've seen Forster put in on some matches is just the best I've ever seen from any GK in any football match I've seen, arguably I'd put him in with having some of the best performances full stop of any Celtic player.

In some games Forster just wasn't human.
