Never been a right back able to do Danny mcgrain impersonations since Danny retired.

 

Who starts the season,him or Ralston?

 

Ralston for me. But it’s very close. I think that Ralston is future captain material and Juranovic won’t be here next/or the season after that. Would also be good if Juranovic had a good season so we can make as much profit on him as possible.

I’m Ralston just now as well, unless we do bring in a big physical midfielder. Physical aspects of his game, goalthreat and creativity edges it for what we need I think.

 

It's absolutely wild that this is even a conversation now, considering how many of us wouldn't have batted an eye if Ralston was sold a few windows ago.

Ralston has been far more impressive in pre-season.

 

Been at fault for, or not done enough to stop some of our early goals. Not switched on yet, playing like it’s preseason… thankfully it still is

 

I love the way big Tony came through last season and guy would run through a brick wall for Ange n celtic but based on all round quality as a player, juranovic start’s ahead of ralston no debate for me

 

For today's game I'd like to see Juranovic play as he's been off it a bit in preseason so hopefully helps him lift his level back to his usual high standards.

Ralston has been sharp in preseason and I do much prefer him but he's also carrying an injury so no reason to risk that today.

That lets both be as sharp as they can be in the run up to the sheep game and gives Ange the hard task of choosing which he plays next week.

Will be plenty of game time for both this season.

 

There are games that suit either player, like with Kyogo and GG. Against big physical SPL sides i would generally fancy Ralston, but against quicker more clever opposition it has to be Jura. It's brilliant having these different profiles for one position and is absolutely no accident. Great recruitment as ever.

 

Agree, great to have both quality options.

 

He’s one of the few players we have who I’ve got absolutely no doubt will be able to step up and not look out of place in the champions league.

Bit of a ropey pre season but he’s still comfortably our best option at right back, with Ralston offering more than good enough back up.

 

If we are going by pre season then Tony Bhoy all day long.
