    At first I didn’t think I’d really care about their women’s team winning it. It’s nice to see some positive attention around the women’s game.

    But * *, the media and arrogance of them makes it really hard not to root for the opposition.

    Aye. I quite like a lot of the players in that England team and thought I wouldn't begrudge them winning it at all. Still wouldn't, really.

    But the commentators and media are just a pain in the *.

    I've never hated a team who I have never seen play, don't know any of the players names, and couldn't pick them out a lineup as much as I hate the English womans team.

    That's the power of the English media.

    It's boring as * to watch, nobody can run with a ball and it's all just basic passing and turning, curled passes from the back up into midfield that bounce off people and someone picks it up and just repeated over and over again.

    Barkas would have kept a clean sheet here, the first goal wasn't too bad but even then probably savable for the vast majority of male keepers.

    Daly the England left-back is absolutley terrible, kicks a ball like she's never done it before, slack control. Standout worst player on the park easily and Sweden haven't really troubled her.
