    Looks athletic, adds height, plays left CB, seems to be good at nipping in and winning the ball. He's being brought in as a backup CB and probably someone we think we can develop, and in that context he could be a good signing.

    People on here thinking we were gonna bring in Paolo Maldini as backup to Starfelt.

    Lorient's fans won't miss him.. wasn't watching much Ligue 1 last year but they describe him as slow and often out of position. Anyway, Jullien wasn't much appreciated either in Toulouse and he ended up making a very decent 1st season with us

    No, I haven’t.

    That’s not my point, though. You’re trying to insinuate that guys who aren’t delighted about the signing have unrealistic transfer goals. The guy has failed at Lorient. His stats aren’t that great either.

    Ange, as always gets my backing. I just think we probably could have gotten someone with a little bit more pedigree.
