even in the first half where we dominated possession we really lacked quality in the final third. We ain't creating enough goal scoring chances and we are slack as * at the back and before anyone says it's pre season it's the same issues we had last season.
I think rogic is gonna be a huge loss to us unless somebody is signed. Welsh and Taylor are nowhere near good enough in fact id put those that came on the second half in the same category.bernebei looks like he'd be better as a winger.
We need some serious reinforcements in before the start of the season

    Defence is still a worry.

Seems same problems as last season of being too exposed and generally making silly mistakes.
Need to shore up as a unit

I only caught a stop-start stream from about 50 mins in, straight away Jota and Bernabei stood out. Delicious partnership down the left incoming I think.

Honestly think we're gonna jump up another level or two this season. They manky rabid hun * are getting skelped silly 100%, and am sticking by my CL prediction....aiming for the quarter finals at least.

    * Jimmy Bell, Maggie Thatcher's in *.

Similar to our other pre-season games, we have been good and bad. It's glaringly obvious that we are still shaky at the back and we really need to get another CH in soon and I know I keep going on about it but we need some height in the team. I also appreciate that we are are an attacking team however, we are going to be caught out if all our defense charge up the park and leaves us short at the back which happened a few times today. I think our new Argie looks good going forward but worried about his defending and, worringly, when he lost possession he struggled to get back. James Forrest looks done as is McCarthy and Lawal is an accident waiting to happen. Hopefully Ange sees what a lot of us are seeing and gets another few in. I think our first eleven looks quite strong but, after that, we look weak.

Standard of the championship is terrible barring a couple of teams who actually try and play a bit 10 of their 11 today must have about 8ft just punt and rush football

Good run about for the boys today. Second half was what you would expect when you make so many changes. Blackburn were going for it in second half don’t think they made any subs until about the 70th minute whereas we made about 11 by then. Different in class showed first half I think if it was a competitive game we would beat them easily. They have a few decent players tbf.

Yeah, thought he was fine. Looked to be defending more aggressively as well, similar to Starfelt.

Aye I think that's very harsh on him. I actually think he's looked OK preseason but he's basically starting from scratch with us after a nightmare start, which wasn't his fault. Definitely due a chance.

Caught cold first 5, test of the half was good. Second half was a non-event with all the changes.

Side note, they are dirty * and Clancy let them away with loads.

clancy has to get ready for new season too ,allowing * to boot celtiic players without punishment is a big part of being a scottish ref

Good to be back. Jota was on fire first half.

In fairness to refs (and I can't believe I'm actually defending them!) it's fairly normal for them to leave the cards in the dressing room in preseason friendlies, because it's generally accepted that:

    1) everyone is rusty as *
    2) there's often fringe/youth involved so it's a bit more ragged
    3) BY FAR the most important part, it's usually accepted that in good etiquette you don't deliberately try to * up the people good enough to host you for your prep and progress in a meaningless match.

Speaks far worse on Blackburn that they were hammer throwing in a friendly. Maybe still sore that we absolutely * slapped them in Europe that time... :57:
