    I think you're right but there's got to be a bit of come and go I suppose. It's still very early in the window.

    It's hard to see us waiting much longer though. Ange won't want to miss another target if this guy decides not to sign. I think we'll offer him an ultimatum shortly and we'll move on, so assuming it wasn't all one big rumour we should know within the next few days.

    Honestly dont trust the poster who said that as he's no got a clue and after a bit of proper wyscouting based on more recent games this season - he's kinda warming upto him now :fear:

    Tbf in my defence these were games from 2020/21 and Belmonte was primarily deployed as a DM, sometimes as part of a double pivot - even for his Argentina games. This season he's been much more of an 8. He scored last week actually.

    He's definitely upped his game since and he's no afraid to stick the boot on someone either which I think we kind of need. Hatate and O'Riley are a bit too nice.

    He's the worst source about but if we're to believe him this time....that'll be that..

    Two La Liga outfits and living in either Barcelona or Seville..

    Don't think we'd be too keen on a straight loan either with no buy option..

    Wasn’t on there but I assume they just compared from the lesser leagues in Europe.

    Seen some stats earlier though and puts up decent numbers in comparison.

    Vini Souza - 3.8 tackles and 2 interceptions per 90.
    Belmonte - 2.4 tackles and 3 interceptions per 90.

    Vini Souza - 79% pass accuracy.
    Belmonte - 86% pass accuracy.

    When I saw this guy's instagram posts with his tatoos and lounging about in pools talking about vibes, I didn't think he'd fit here. Just waiting for a European club in the sun for more Insta likes and for his gf/gf's. Fair play to the guy, but sounds like football-wise he would have been ideal.
