    His English is wild.

Used the word meticulous at one point. A large proportion of the UK won't know what that means :giggle1:

Towards the end of last season. All the players were spotted going into Celtic park.

HE’S tied to Celtic for the next five years.

But £6.5million new Bhoy Jota says he could NEVER celebrate a Champions League goal against former club Benfica.

The 23-year-old finalised a move to Glasgow this week after a loan season that saw him score 13 goals to help Celtic to a Premiership and Premier Sports Cup double.

He admits that the lure of the Champions League — where Celtic will go straight into the August 25 group stage draw — was a massive incentive in making his move to Scotland.

But he knows he would face a major dilemma if Celtic were drawn against the club he’s just left.

If Benfica — who start the competition in the third qualifying round — reached the group stage draw they would go into Pot 3, while Celtic are likely to be below them in Pot 4.

Jota said: “I don’t want to think about the prospect of playing against them in the Champions League!

Would I celebrate if I scored against them?

“Definitely not — no chance! Benfica is a really special place for me and it will always be in my heart, whatever happens.

“Coming to Scotland this week was quite a nostalgic moment for me because I’ve left home.

It’s been fifteen years, not one year, and fifteen years is a lifetime.

“I guess it’s like Kieran Tierney going to Arsenal — everyone kept saying to me that he had left home and it’s the same for me.

I was on my holidays and I was thinking about what I would do next. I had to make the choice, and I chose Celtic.

“At this moment in my career this was the best step for me and I’m 100 per cent here and focused on doing the job.”

Jota has been capped at every level for Portugal, amassing 73 caps — and scoring 26 goals — at youth levels up to and including the Under-21s.

But he’s reluctant to speculate about whether coming to Scotland will rule out any chance he has of making Fernando Santos’ full squad.

He said: “I don’t think like that. I think about every game and every training session and if things happen, they’ll happen.

If they don’t need to happen, they won’t happen.

“I just want to stay grounded, remain humble and do my work.

“For sure, being involved with the national team is a dream and it would be a big moment in my life.

“But right now I’m just thinking in the present — and the present means pre-season with Celtic.

“That was something I was looking for, because in the last few years I didn’t have the chance to do a full pre-season and to play at the club where I had done pre-season.

“By moving to Celtic permanently I have the opportunity to do a full pre-season. I’m happy I can be with all the lads, to enjoy it and try to deliver results.

“Every training session we do and every game we have is a step towards our goal.

We know we can be much better than this.

“We just have to believe the ideas of the coach and be as strong as we can — because we don’t stop
