    He mentioned we were looking at a player from Lanus before the links to Bernabei broke, so he obviously does get some info. Sure he's been right on a few other occasions too.

    Him and oor @McGrory1888 have been pretty consistent with Souza throughout all this, so I'm inclined to believe his updates a bit more than the standard KDS ITKs.

    As long as we can keep Paul the Tim locked up when he’s up visiting then we should be fine :84:

    Bernabei and Jota will no doubt be announced early next week. If we can add this guy to the squad before pre season starts too then that would be perfect.

    Use the rest of the window to scout a third CB, unless Jullien shocks us all and has an unreal pre season.

    Initially Ange had set a deadline of yesterday for the player to really commit to talks and show a desire to come here. That’s now happened and I believe the player is coming up “in the next couple of days” for a tour of Lennoxtown and Celtic Park.

    Ange doesn’t want things dragging on though. If the player doesn’t commit pretty much immediately after his visit, we’ll move on to other targets. He wants his DM on the flight to Austria.

    All sounds very promising then.

    I just can’t see him coming up to see the place then deciding against the move. Not sure what he could see that would put him off, unless it’s * down the day he comes up.

    Refreshing to know Ange has an other target in waiting should Souza decide against it though, just got to hope he’s of a similar quality.

    Jota, Berni and Souza/Other all on the plane to Austria is ideal. Ironically the only year we’ve been prepared for qualifiers and we don’t have any to play.
