Some of these are class, I especially love Kelman, Roddy Doyle and Des Dillon. Less keen on Doyle's bitter take on James Joyce, who he seemed to resent for the status he'd achieved as a Dublin writer and the reputation he'd forged via Ulysses and Dubliners as one of the only novelists of the time to represent Dublin speech in prose.

Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee is a brilliant book. I prefer to read non-fiction and usually history based books.....and I have to say that one was absolutely awesome

The synagogue of Satan! Fascinating book! One of my favorites.

Have read a few good books about the troubles from all sides. Some great ones although I've lost a few of them or lent them out and never got them back. Actually just reminded me, I lent a mate 2 full box of books. I'll have to phone the * and get them back.

Favorites are autobiographies and again, had quite a few of these although always some * asked for a lend of them and ya never see them again. David goggins is an excellent book.

To many to mention so will gives ya a wee peak of the book shelf in the corner of my office. They say you can tell alot about a man about the books he reads. Here's a snipet of what I have. Have another few boxes in the attic I've put away because was taking up to much space.

And forgot about these three holding the bed up.(3 on the other side aswell) Came home one night full of the soup and devil's dust and me and the misses thought we were in our young 20s again with me trying to put her through the head board:36::36::35:. Bed collapsed so now my building books keeping them off the ground. Miserable * I am I won't even buy a new one :40::rofl:

Probably my favourite list so far. Hunger by Knut Hamsun and Steppenwolf by Hesse in particular.
