I mind seeing on one of they airport programs on T.V that an airline is allowed to sell two tickets for the one seat. They also then argue that they are legimatley allowed to do this as a means to cover any potential losses that they'll make. I dont know the exact ins and outs of it but it definitely happens. Two people, separate passengers, turn up with the same ticket for a seat on the plane and if the airline has over-booked the flight then one of them has to just wait on the next one. It is outrageous but its true and apparantly they are actually allowed by law to do this

Found a beauty of a package deal.. return flights and 7 nights accom for myself and the woman in mid October for £900 total. Already over near that neck of the woods hence the cheap flights. Hotel looks a cracker too. Anyone ever head over there at that time of year? Hoping to catch some sun.

Not been away since 2017, Cyprus was last planned destination until covid struck.
Wean doesnt like leaving dog, so we've just been sticking to some lodges we like in Dumfries.
Will get abroad though hopefully soon, as this years weather has probably been the worst I can remember for * knows how long. Usually have a wee prolonged period of weather but its been at max 3 days of average sunny days. Pitiful.

Been back and forth to turkey 3 times in last 12mths due to getting dental work (well it’s not easy keeping this handsome you know) and back over for a week in November, but the problem is that I have used up all my holidays so no real holiday until next year.

Budva & Kotor - Sarajevo - Mostar & Dubrovnik over 2 weeks in July.

Perfect mix of the sun & sea + all interesting spots, Sarajevo is a very underrated place to see, has its own Celtic pub too.

Will have Ćevapi coming out me gills by the end.

Finally getting to riviera maya at end of august. Was booked for 2020 so been a long time coming. Just need to try shift this lockdown timber before I get there. Don’t want to be mincing about like a South Park character.

Stunning city, I just enjoyed walking about and sitting getting a beer around about where the astronomical clock was personally.

We did lots of things like Hard Rock, they’ve got pubs you pour your own pints etc (also class strippers :fear:) but if the weather is good the best part was just floating about.

Aye there is one round the corner from my hotel. Put money on a card & use card with a touch screen to pour the pint. Will definitely be trying that :60:
