I think it's half-true, I wouldn't be surprised if we tried to change the deal (perhaps £9 million + 10% sell on or something similar) but there is no chance we've pulled out the deal cause they said no. It's probably what's caused the delay, but no chance is the deal dead.

Both players will sign , jota terms would have been set before we went ahead on the loan deal , any hold up will be due to club or player , at our end , am guessing it's a formality as both seem pretty relaxed on the matter.
Ccv is the 1 that could have room for negotiation, being that it was so last minute, am also sure the club feel comfortable that he will be here nxt year .

Since then he’s returned to Benfica for preseason, signed for Celtic (who reluctantly agreed to a 30% sell on to the fans’ relief), then been sold to Southampton with Benfica getting 30% of the sale (much to the fans’ disdain at us being stupid enough to include that clause). It’s all Mark Lawwell’s fault, except anything that’s considered remotely positive.

It's like Groundhog Day every year at this stage of the season with constant rumours, press articles and people just making up *. I am now resigned to waiting for the official photo of players standing in Celtic Park with a scarf above their head and wearing a Celtic top or even for the alternative - the Celtic Board getting pelters again
