Seen that there was rumours mooy was in glasgow , and i know his wifes family is here but think he would be a good replacement for bitton , would imagine he wouldnt cost a fortune but a very good player, think we need now taht rogic and bitton are gone and probably barkas , ajeti, soro and boli and probably jullien, apso if jota and ccv stay i think we still need the following

although that seams a lot the difference between this season and last is that we are not looking for good players to fill these positions , we are looking for very good players to improve these positions

MC - McGregor/Hatate/Turnbull
MC - New/O'Reily/Turnbull

Get two with power and pace. We are going to be top class.

 

Mooy is on 180k a week. We haven't a hope of signing him. We need buyers for some deadwood which is always difficult. Ajeti, Barkas, Bolingoli and Soro the obvious ones. Whether as can shift them on remains to be seen. Rogic and Bitton away will see a couple of midfielders signed. Hopefully we keep CCV and Jota. I think we will. I still hold hope for big Julien- a good pre season and a chance to show what he can offer might see him come back in. For me the absolute priorities are CCV, Jota, a new left back and a number 6. Then we can target quality that might become available. Another winger might be needed and a number 10.

 

Business needs to be:

Clear all the * out Barkas, Soro, Ajeti etc.

Re-sign Jota and CCV

We also need a 1 or 2 proper how the * did Celtic get him type signings along with a couple of other boys in to strengthen the squad further.

Needs are a LB, proper strong CM/AM, Winger

 

Clear the deadwood out and try get any money possible for them.

Get Jota and CCV tied down to long contracts

Add a new LB, left footed CH, Powerful CDM, AM

Then only buy players to replace anyone sold that were not expecting for big money. (think Abada will be on a few clubs radar with the numbers hes hit this year)

 

Ccv, Jota, 1st choice left back, top defensive midfielder and after that I'd like a good few young players identified through mark lawwell (frimpong types).. then get around 10 of the 1st team deadwood moved on without delay

Definitely, hard to drop either from last season but need variation.

£27m total. You would also think we could get a few million here and there for boys that aren't going to cut it here. Ajeti, Boli, Barkas, Soro, McCarthy, Julien.... could surely get £6m for these boys. Plus we have £2m coming from Bournemouth for Christie, we will probably get something for Dembele this year, maybe only £1m or so. Plus, we have champions league money. That's like a £19m net spend, not including the amount of wages we will save in getting these boys off the list. Ajeti, Julien, McCarthy, Rogic, Bitton, Boli, Soro and Barkas will probably be on about £120k a week between them man. No way will it cost us that for the boys above. You'd imagine Jota and CCV will go on about £20k a week but the rest wouldn't command large salaries I don't think. They're all young also so the chance of selling them on for larger profits is there to see.

 

Seen some journo from the express saying that Ange is looking for a center back, left back and striker along with CCV and Jota signing.

Seems odd that there's no midfielder mentioned.

What are we all gonna do all summer if Ange has everything done by middle of June. No cl qualifiers and no sky scanner of potential targets on private jets to Glasgow..

We'll 100% get a LB, CB and a CDM this summer imo, alongside CCV and Jota.

My worry is winger, we 100% need another in there but with Forrest signing a new deal we might not get one.

 

Is Solbakken not off to Roma? Figured that was a goner. Would love it to happen mind,.
