    The work permit situation for South Americans actually became a lot easier for us after Brexit, but it’s still a far easier (and attractive) adjustment for those players to adjust to European football in a Latin country than it is here.

    Also, not saying this is necessarily the case for Ortega, but a lot of South American players, particularly Argentines because of the recent nature of European migration to Argentina, find it a lot easier to get moves to Europe because they’ll have dual nationality with an EU country. Look at the amount of Argentines in serie A with Italian citizenship because they have Italian heritage!

    Watched his game last night with Estudiantes in the Copa Libertadores. Similar to Jeahze last week, didn't have much to do defensively. Estudiantes were very poor and Velez dominated. Seemed to always be involved in the game without standing out. Would be a steady 7/10 performer but I will try watch more of him in the next few days. Given it's the South American Champions League, it was impressive enough. Didn't impress me as much as Jeahze but again, it's only one game I watched. Velez seem to attack down their right hand side a lot more yesterday. I don't know if that's a theme of their usual play or if they looked at exploiting their opponents down that one side.
