He has had plenty of loans in the championship and none took him on permanently. But 50k will be far more than we offer, and I wouldn't blame him for taking it.

    I would.

Think it would be a really stupid move. They'll struggle to finish above 15th place.

Couple more years here, all of them potentially involving CL football and he is laughing. Can leave at 26 or 27 and get his choice of moves. Certainly better than Fulham.

    O'Riley has the right idea.

Sikala didnt give him an easy time in the second half vs them. his movement was causing him some problems and he didnt know whether to stay central or follow his runs.
For the goal, Sikala peeled across to Ralston and there was a 3v1 created that led to Sikala being played in.
Second chance Sikala ran off the shoulder and across CCV, who tried to hold him off and slipped.
Lastly he tries to play sikala offside, who stays on and hit the post.

Wouldnt have said these were glaring errors but i havnt seen him as troubled.

I think the highest we went to was 45k a week for Sinclair. I remember hearing that the current highest is Rogic or McGregor on 25k a week.

Sinclair was on 35k a week I'm sure. He dropped from about 45k at Villa.

Don't think we've paid anyone that since Gravesen. Excluding Keane who was a loan bankrolled purely by Desmond nae doubt.

Was sure it was 45k, but it might be Rodgers I'm thinking of.

Come to think of it, what was Duffy on when he was here? The rumours surrounding what we were actually paying him are pretty muddled, but I'm sure he said we were paying his full wages.

Either way, I'd happily give both Jota and CCV 30k a week, both have earned it.

CCV and O'Riley isn't comparable. O'Riley took a small pay cut in the short term to go up a level, if he stayed at Fulham and never given a chance his career could have been over. He will be earning far more with us than he would at Fulham. CCV would start for Fulham and get paid a lot more than we would pay him. If he waits 2 years he may. Lt get his choice of moves. Look at Boyata, got a world cup bronze and on a free the best he got was Hertha Berlin.

    I still disagree.

Fulham would be a stupid move for potentially only 10k more per week. As a defender in a side like that it would be almost impossible to stand out. They'll be one of the favourites to go down again.

I think with Jullien, Barkas, Rogic, Bitton all going we can easily chuck £40k a week at him and Jota. That, CL football and more titles at the age of only 24 is better than another 10k a week at Fulham.

Boyata may have a world bronze but its evident who the better player is. Took him to 25 years old to even start playing regularly.
