As others have said, If Newcastle are properly interested I think he'll go there.

As others have also said, I'd be very surprised if they were, they'll be shopping in an entirely different market now, and he wouldn't be going there as first choice.

I think we'll get one more season out of him, CL was always the deal-breaker for me, and now we've secured it I feel we're a more suiting outfit than the likes of Fulham, Southampton etc.

 

With both ccv and Jota I think there is absolutely no guarantee they will get the chance to play in the champions League in their future. They might, they might not.

But if they stick around they definitely get to experience it next year and that's something they both can be certain of. Ange signed off with comments about making a mark on the CL next year. If you are Jota or CCV you know you are potentially in for a season that'll live long in the memory at the very least.

Honestly believe both will stay and I hope am right. If both stay and impress in the CL then they will have better options than the likes of Newcastle on the table further down the line.

I dont think it will come down to money , i think he will sign for champions league, but we will only have him a few seasons then he will be off the a mid level premier league . I think if he was after money he would of taken a loan down South this season rather than come up here, he obviously wants to win trophies and play in Europe. Plus now he has been called up to the USA team.
