I like him and if he was anywhere near the level he was at previously I'd have him in the team over Starfelt but it feels like the injury has taken a lot out of him

 

He'll be gone this summer 100%, hopefully we can get at least a couple million for him.

 

I think he will be off this summer. I'd be happy enough. I think his time out made him better than he was in some heads. He was average at best imo. Shat out heavy challenges and never done as much with his height advantage as he should have, especially set pieces. Bank a few mill and free up more wages.

 

Must have dreamt the goals at Hampden against the zombies and at home to Lazio.. silly me

 

Just seen his quotes. He's a goner in the Summer for sure.

 

Have sympathy for him being out injured so long must be frustrating, but dunno when he expected to be put on when we're in a tight title race with a consistent centre back pairing that was winning us games, realistically this season was write off for him unless he got fit in the 1st half of the season or we wrapped up the league with a good chunk of games left he could play.

He doesn't suit our style and I was a big fan of his..

He was one of the most obvious player's to be let go after his comeback..

I watched him in he hun B team game recently, about 4 month's after his comeback against Raith and he was just as immobile, stiff and * as he was then..

Another big wage off the book's and some kinda fee most likely..

 

Aye, gutted to see it end this way for him.
But he will be improved upon, surely. Big wages free'd up, but doubt we will recoup what we paid for him (not every deal needs to be done that way mind you).

Just lets hope we go get someone of that calibre again.

 

£7m was alot for us to spend on a centre half. It was a waste of money in hindsight. Could maybe get a couple back mind and it can go towards the fee for CCV.

 

Aye I keep saying it but he's another that doesn't have the pace for an Ange side..

All player's that aren't really suited to a high line, high energy, pressing outfit..

We need a pacey, dominant left sided centre half who can cover well. Jullien is too slow (even moreso now), injury prone, bullied by certain style of striker..

I thought he was a big game player though. Excellent at the back, particularly in the air overall. Experienced. Leader type. Came up with big goals and a real threat in the box. Passing was pretty good with either foot, although he did play the occasional hospital ball..

We can get better, especially for our system..

 

Didn't say he done nothing at them, just not enough. 7m and you bring up two (albeit good) examples. Alot of money spent with not enough return for me. He was no where near commanding enough (again imo).

 

Thought his aerial ability was actually one of his strengths tbh

Also felt he had a knack of finding himself in good goal scoring positions. He's scored more goals for us since he signed than McGregor has. 10 in total.

Always seemed a bit soft though. His rolling around in agony anytime he came near a physical CB was annoying as *.

 

Will definitely get a couple mil back from some French side I’d imagine.

Big man’s late winner vs Lazio and cup final winner will always be remembered.

 

Shane Duffy went through him on his debut.

Didn't think he'd be the type to pretty much sulk to the papers, he's been injured for over a year and he doesn't have the right to go straight back into the starting line up.

Think he'll be away now after that interview.

 

Shouldn’t have gone to papers but like he said he’s been available since Jan and a dm was used before him on bench treated like dog shot tbh just because ange won the title doesn’t mean he’s far from criticism here could have handled it better give guy some minutes if he’s surplus his stick will be a bit higher as he’s gotten minutes
