I think you just need to scout well. If you can get Juranovic for £2.5m then you can get a left back at that level for a similar price

Have to agree with most on here. Has a great attitude, decent defender and has improved going forward massively.

Just lacks physicality and that will kill us at the highest level. Not really his fault.

Only has about 4 assists I think.

Would like more from all our Full backs tbh. Ralston has contributed quite well and obviously Jura can take a pen. But even he could do with more assists.

We don't need to spend an insane amount of cash to find better than Greg Taylor. That just isn't true.

We need some amount of luck then, because left footed LB's with strength, pace, defensive, crossing and passing abilities aren't cheap these days.

Probably one of the most improved players since ange came in...

But not wanting to deliberately be harsh on the lad but it is still evident that we could and should be improving in that position.

We still need better but there's no denying he's improved this season

Been very good of late and always give 100% maximum effort, definitely deserves the praise he has been getting this season. Although I still have my doubts that he's physically big enough when up against European opposition.

Taylor was £2+ million though wasn't he?

So unless we get the scouting spot on you are likely looking at least double or treble that to be confident we'll improve upon him wouldn't be an unreasonable position?

We spent 2.5m on Josip and I'd say he was an upgrade on Taylor (if he was a LB)

Yes but with Juranovic we either got lucky or had good scouting. Plus he wasn't bought as a LB (slightly besides the point granted). I'm not saying it's not possible to get someone better, just that it might come at a price.

Bolingoli was £3+m and not great.

He was £3m but for me we massively overpaid and Killie knew we had the Tierney money.

There's definitely value to be had out there and we have to strive to improve.

Taylor is a good player to have in the squad and will continue to play a big part next season but if we want to keep improving then we need to upgrade on the wee man.

Ange’s strike rate in the transfer market has been unbelievable so far so I’m very confident he can find someone more suited to his style than Taylor for a decent price.

He’s very particular in what he wants so I expect any signing that comes in to have been scouted for a fair while now, either by people that have been at the club this season or the incoming Lawwell jr.

Excited to see what we do this summer.

Not really saying anything different, just that we'll need to be smart operators to make it work.

The upcoming transfer window is going to be interesting.

He is nowhere near as good as Juranovic. If we kept him as back up then I would have no problem with that. It’s a position we badly need to improve though. He is too weak defensively and doesn’t offer enough going forward in my opinion. We probably won’t get anyone as good as Tierney, but I think about Izaguirre prior to his injury. He wasn’t brilliant defensively, but going forward he was superb. I’d be over the moon to have someone with the same ability as him in this team. He cost very little as well.

Taylor is pretty close to Juranovic in my opinion, he's also two years shy on him and can develop alot if he's given game time and proper matching the coming season.

Both Taylor and Juranovic operate as playmakers in their wingback positions, both of them being very instrumental in how Angeball works. We've played our best football this season when they both play and got two quality wingers ahead of them. It seems like he’s an important character in the dressing room as well.

That being said, if there's a talented LB coming in I wouldn't mind it, Celtic should always strive to become the best. I just don't want the club throwing good money Bolingoli-like signings when we have a good LB on our books who could develop into a great player for us three years down the line.

This season he has 1 goal a d 4 assists in 34 appearances

In total he has 2 goals and 16 assists in 82 games

He is absolutely deserving of his place in the team right now but LB is our weakest position with him being our only real natural LB option so we should be looking to strengthen and in strengthening there we should be looking fir someone to come in above him, if that pushes him onto be better and it keeps the new bhoy out then grand

I like Taylor, but no chance is he anywhere near as good as Juranovic.

I don't even think he's as good as Ralston, who's recent form has dipped a bit, but was excellent before Christmas.

He's a perfect back-up and that's still leaps and bounds ahead of where he was at the start of the season.

He's done well tbf to him, but it's clear that we need better quality in that position, especially if we are to compete in Europe.
