    If they did do it then I’m pretty sure we’d need Leipzig to win the Europa and finish top 4 in Bundesliga and Russian teams to get expelled.

    - Leipzig would qualify through Europa and Germany’s 4th spot would then go to Shakhtar.

    - Liverpool/City/Madrid would qualify through CL win and England/Spain 4th spot would go to Dynamo Kyiv.

    - Russian spot would go to Celtic.

    The issue is there would be two Ukrainian teams getting a bye to the groups and there is only one Russian club in the groups to replace.

    Therefore the other Ukrainian side would take the spot that we’re in.

    Don’t think there’s any chance of it happening though.

    Ffs that would be a farce if it was to happen.

    Some * should tell UEFA there's been a war going on in Glasgow fir generations and that we should be aloud into the CL because of it.

    Say we get to auto qualify and get straight to groups.

    What's the chances we finally get a reasonable group that Ange, with the tight backing, could look to progress from?

    Not really expecting much should we get to CL proper but would be nice if we get a decent group we could feasibly think last 16 might just be achievable

    My thoughts too, bet somehow the seedings for next cl will be so * up we end up getting Real Madrid, Man City and Inter Milan or some such ridiculous pisstake.

    No doubt in my mind we will definitely get a group of death...everyone will want to avoid being paired with us for that reason.:56:

    I've no idea how seeding will work and who will be in what pot, but we are nailed on to get a team like reigning champs as its likely Liverpool, Manchester City or Real Madrid win it.

    Not gonna lie though, thought of Fake Jota, Mane and Salah running at out defence is * terrifying.

    Even with a "good" group, last 16 would still be an insane achievement in the modern era.

    I feel we are still miles off where we need to be Europe wise. Think that's evident.

    * farce that it's even being played at that stage of the year. Just won't feel the same at all.

    Porto - Ajax - team from pot 3 like Marseille or Salzburg. couple of years ago i'd say thats a group we could win but...

    Getting at least 3rd in a group like that now should still be achievable if you win all 3 home games but this is Celtic and we always get the group of death so more likely to be Real Madrid, Juventus and Chelsea/Arsenal.
