That Depeche Mode when we score!!
I had a great Day today on the Wildlife walking front! Early this morning with Ruby Roo on my local headland I got lovely views of a 2nd year Iceland Gull, might be able to sort out a photo of it. I also well spotted my first Cuckoo of the year flying over the base of the headland. A handsome male Stonechat was also seen and before on the beach several Splendid Wheatears were seen.
Then later in the morning I went to a cool Valley in Snowdonia with a cool mate and we got brilliant lengthy views of a Fine Goshawk, also a pair of Pied Flycatcher were well seen and a Redstart briefly. We heard another Pied Flycatcher and another Redstart, here we only heard a distant Cuckoo but we did see a Kestrel as well. So yes a pretty good day!!!!
Oh after we went the finest Butcher i know of anywhere and yes i got carried away and parted company with £68:56:

So far this year I have seen a very respectable total of 10 species of Raptors. Common Buzzard, Peregrine, Sparrowhawk, Golden Eagle, Hen Harrier, Kestrel , White Tailed Eagle, Merlin, Red Kite And Goshawk In that order, my best total already Since 2019.
Without being too greedy my Realistic Targets for the rest of the year are

    Hobby
    Marsh Harrier
    Osprey
    Honey Buzzard
    Rough Legged Buzzard

I will not be greedy , 3 of these will do:84:

When I spotted the wildlife mentioned in my post , I was out hill walking in Perthshire . I went up a hill called Ben Gulabin , in Glenshee . It's not a Munro , but it stands at 806 m , so classed as a Corbett . I post my photos on twitter .
