Am I the only guy who can’t get anyone being annoyed at this result?

 

I know what you’re saying here. If we can barely run for 90 without midweek fixtures and put that shower of * to bed on our own patch, what * chance do we have playing every 3-4 days and against top European opponents.

I’m really keen to hear Ange’s insight on these leggy half arsed performances as this simply isn’t working - it’s alarming!

its a helluva style were trying to play and its been succesful over the season

were setup to be ultra attacking, a team thats more conservative with players of a decent standard will always cause us problems

this spread everyone out and play passes long and short means is great when it comes off but one missplaced or a pass with not enough pace on it means were chasing our tails and the team lose confidence in this exapansive style

felt for long parts of this game like mcgregor was a one man midfield it means we get murdered when the ball gets turned over

 

Prob burn out due to the much spoke about high intensity training we do during the week. Its not working Ange !!!

 

When we are playing these * we need more physical type players on the pitch and that second half was unacceptable and we got off the hook there with that shot came off the post but we need better finishers .

 

A draw that all but guarantees the title feels like a defeat to you?

 

Not a bad result but feels like a defeat because of the chances we missed.

We are so wasteful.

 

IMO a big part of the problem is the constant turnover of possession.

We work hard to win it, everyone transitions for the attacking move, then Hatate gives it away.

If you do that 3 times in 15 minutes that’s:

• 3 chances to attack given up
• 3 attacks handed to the opponent
• 3 chances to tire the opponent with possession given up.
• 3 extra sprints the entire team needs to do to cover the turnover, after sprinting into the attacking transition.

All within 15 minutes. It’s clearly exhausting for the team. Hatate is a great player but needs to stop giving it away. It’s life and death as far as a football match goes.
