Put Hatate on the bench. Kyogo as a number 10 just behind Giakoumakis with Mcgregor, Jota and Maeda.

Could that work? Maeda and Kyogo always track back so would effectively flood midfield still.

If it was Ibrox I'd start Giakoumakis as I'd expect them to obviously press us a lot more and a big issue in the Hampden game was our inability to just launch it when coming under the cosh. He brings to us what Morelos does for them.

However as I mentioned I expect us to dominate from the outset and with Bassey at CB I'd prefer having Kyogos movement.

I will mostly be in a field in Donegal at a reb fest. A marquee is set up with a big screen. What could possibly go wrong :39:

Said before the game at Ibrox win the next 4 and league is done, 3 down 1 to go now.

It’s there for this team, they will be raging as well after what happened in the semi final of the Scottish. Kyogo or Giakoumakis is a nice problem to have, I would be tempted to start the team from today next week if it’s the same squad to pick from.

I think if Rogic was to come on later in the game with more space to exploit and Abada similar they would both have a better impact than starting. I am tempted to go Kyogo after today, you lose Giakoumakis’s physicality but Kyogo looked a lot sharper today than last week and with another week in his legs.

Plus Giakoumakis is a big handful to bring on off the bench fresh with 20-30 minutes left after Maeda, Kyogo and Jota have ran them ragged.

I am going to have to watch this on the phone as have a flight to Crete (Giakoumakis’s home island I believe) at 15:50.

They will win on Sunday, that will put some people back in their box, you'd have thought some would learn after the 10 in a row patter that it's not done till it's done though I still think we will get over the line by beating Hearts and Dundee Utd.

    Giakoumakis
    Maeda - Kyogo - Jota
    McGregor - Hatate/O'Riley
    Taylor - CCV - Starfelt - Ralston

Would love to try to incorporate both Kyogo and Giakoumakis in the lineup as I think it could work really well... not sure if this is the game to try it though. It's a really attacking lineup but Kyogo would no doubt get back quickly.

Does leave us a lack of forward options from the bench, so I imagine it will be one or the other.

A draw against them and we only need to win one game out of the three left.
Obviously it will be great to win the league against the huns, but a draw practically delivers the title anyway.

Probably be called a bun but those are my thoughts, I don't know where the confidence comes from considering how pish we were at Hampden.

Liking this. If the Huns man mark Rogic again then I can see Kyogo and GG exploiting it

No the 3-0 game we were good but they completely sat off us and invited pressure, the last 2 games they've pressed us and made us look very average, even the win at Ibrox we didn't play good football, we had to defend for large spells and did it well but finished the game with under 40% possession and a low 73% pass completion.

Could potentially win it without winning another game, if we drew all remaining games.

Will celebrate a draw like a win next week if it does happen. Don’t care if we play terrible these last few games, they are all about the results.

In the Ibrox game, we could've easily been up another 2 goals. Maeda, Rogic and Abada x2 all had opportunies to * bury them. I can't really remember them threatening apart from their goal.

The game at Hampden was really tight. A draw would've been a fair reflection but you don't get draws in knockout competitions. Small margins won them the game. If CCV hits the net, we would've booked our place in the final.

They're without a recognised striker and we have ours back. We have 60k tims wanting blood and will be screaming at the rooftops for us to go for their throat.

I usually feel nervy going into these games really but I feel like we'll win comfortably by 3 goals (or more if we really go for them).
