Looking at Ange saying how big a leader he is in the dressing room, and how much desire he has, it shouldn’t be surprising. It still is because he’s a placid sort of player but it’s good to see what they see in the background.

He leads by example against them though, 100%.

It’s a shame for him personally that they turned it around, because the credit he’d be getting for the movement and clinical finish for his goal would be so much more amplified if they didn’t.

 

He's had some turnaround this season. Up there on a par with Ralston in the most improved player category. The sad thing for him is I still think we need a better right back. We've got to improve and keep improving in all positions. Especially if we're planning on the Champions League next season. But I do like the guy

 

Think it says something about last season that we are going into some really important games with Taylor and Ralston, who were both here then, and the discussion is positive about the contribution they bring.

Thought he was outstanding the full game..

Had everything..

 

Compared to the start of the season he is far, far stronger.

He was unreal today. Would by MOTM if Jota hadn’t decided he was taking the pish today and getting a goal and assist.

 

He bossed Hungbo when he came on. Great use of the ball too

 

Man of the match for me.

 

Aye I know everyone will go with Jota and I can't argue with that, he was good and produced the class moment's.....Taylor was top drawer though..

Won pretty much every battle and they tried to target him. Was strong. Didn't let them in behind. Was excellent on the ball. Good going forward..

Really impressed me..

 

Outstanding and i've got him down as motm aswell.

 

Showed a lot of strength against Hungbo which is what he's usually criticised for.

Is there not a specialist he can work with to improve his strength and acceleration? His work on the ball is mainly excellent, even though he's susceptible to panicking and losing composure when under the cosh.

His physical attributes really let him down when the level goes up though.

 

He's going to get MOTM against the huns next week, almost a guarantee.

 

Thought the whole backline were outstanding, he was my motm, maybe jota.

 

My MOTM, was fantastic today.

 

Back 4 gave Hungbo * all to be fair, solid performances.

Would love him to prove me wrong and carry on performances like this in Europe next year.
