    My mate can't watch the games against the huns. Goes on a walk without his phone for a couple of hours. I couldn't imagine not watching them even though they're torture. You'll get over this one mate. 0-2

    Just to touch on your Liverpool point there. In all likelihood we don't. There looks to be very little chance that the Russian clubs won't be banned from European competition next season so Villareal go ahead and win the Champions League!

    In fairness it probably is the tempo and intensity of how we train coupled with over time the fact we play 60 plus games a season. I would hope next season it would not be as much of an issue after having a full proper pre-season with most of the squad already in place given where we are now squad wise compared to where we were last summer.

    When the post split fixtures were announced this was the game that stood as a potential banana skin for me. Would love to see us come flying at them in the first 30 mins and bag a couple of goals or this could become very hard work. I'm confident we'll win but we need to be switched on and 'at it' from the kick off.

    Interesting trend...

    As a former referee (in a different sport) I know how this can get pointed and twisted, however, Celtic have won just 2 games in the last 7 where Kevin Clancy has been the referee. Not saying to read too much into this, as it's not like he's been flashing reds and awarding spotkicks (just 1 for and 1 against) and in fairness at least in some of these games we were pretty bang ordinary anyhow, so shouldn't blame the ref for that.. it's just interesting to note...
