    Good news to be honest..

Was concerned about Carter-Vickers. Who would be a bigger miss at centre half than Juranovic is at right back..

Juranovic still a miss, rate him highly....but one player for a couple of week's...isn't too bad at all..

    Jackie back also. That'll do..

Definitely could have been a lot worse. We can handle Juranovic being out a few weeks with Ralston able to step in. Agreed the bigger miss would have been either CCV or Taylor simply because of the lack of good cover.

GG being fit is massive as well just gives the team a different dimension if the slick passing football isn't working.

What I expected really as all the injuries last weekend except Juranovic's looked to be just cramps. Still makes me feel much better heading into Sunday. Having Giako's physical presence up top will be crucial I think.

Hope Ralston can return to form he had before Josip became the first team player

Celtic could be without a host of attacking options for their game against against Motherwell in Glasgow at the weekend with Giorgos Giakoumakis the latest injury concern for Ange Postecoglou.

The forward was called up to the Greece squad for their Nations League matches but he wasn’t included in any of the matchday squads for their games against Cyprus and Northern Ireland due to a minor injury.

Manager Gus Poyet says the 27-year-old had a leg knock that he “couldn’t risk”.

And following the win over Northern Ireland in Athens former Chelsea midfielder Poyet says he does not expect him to be fit for the Premiership’s return on Saturday.

He said: “He had a small problem and we couldn’t risk him.

“I don’t know how long. I think it’s not going to be long out, but if you ask me now, I don’t think he will play at the weekend in Scotland. So he was not fit to play.”

The Hoops will be looking to get back to winning ways after the 2-0 defeat to St Mirren before the international break.

And Giakoumakis is not the only attacking player returning to Celtic Park with an injury concern.

Japan forward Daizen Maeda was substituted at half-time in Friday’s friendly against the USA with a thigh problem and was not fit enough to make the squad for Tuesday’s match against Ecuador.

In addition, Sead Haksabanovic was taken off after 32 minutes of Montenegro’s 2-0 Nations League defeat at home to Finland on Monday, while David Turnbull withdrew from the Scotland squad last week due to the ankle injury he sustained against St Mirren.

Manager Ange Postecoglou will be hoping for encouraging news on the fitness of all four players over the coming days as his team prepare to embark on a gruelling run of 13 matches, including four Champions League fixtures, in just six weeks between this weekend and the World Cup break in November.

The Hoops also have issues at centre-back, with Cameron Carter-Vickers withdrawing from the USA squad when he “pulled up a bit sore” during training prior to the St Mirren game.

Reports suggest the influential American is unlikely to be fit for this weekend.

Sweden defender Carl Starfelt is still working his way back from the knee injury he sustained against Rangers at the start of September.

And Ideguchi & McCarthy. So possibly up to 8 out.

Slight relief there, praying big Cammy is OK for Leipzig. Not as bad as we feared.

So only Jackie and Starfelt out beyond the weekend..

Jackie's doesn't seem a long term one either as he still stayed with Greece and just wasn't risked in the end..

    What was Starfelt's injury again?

Knee. Read he has went to see a specialist this week. Not expecting him back this month. Hopefully CCV is back for Saturday.

Anyone know about Mooy and Turnbull? Was Turnbull just not in squad?

Praying it’s good news for McGregor. Probably find out more about that in tomorrow’s presser.

Hopefully nobody is going to be out for the next few months or anything like that. Having CCV back for the weekend (if that's the case) will be a real boost.

Problem is with Ange, and I'm not against it tbh, is that he never let's information out about his injury list.

He kept saying stuff about Kyogo when he was out for an eternity last season.

CCV may be back for St Johnstone or after the world cup or any time in between.

There's nothing we can do, we just get on with it.

Having both first choice centre backs out is brutal for any club yet all you hear are the huns injuries. Who the * from their first choice is actually out injured or has been out injured over the last two or three years?

We've had countless and some have been at the same time and for a substantial period of time.

Poor huns though. Their back up's back up defender is out.

Seem to be picking up a few injuries. Who's likely out for the Ross County game?
