We need him for the run-in. The physicality he brings gives us another dimension, he was badly missed at the weekend.

Hopefully he’s back for Sunday. Probably be the bench as Kyogo must start for me. Anyone know anything more about other injuries? Seemed to be dropping like flies on Sunday but not much chat.

It's testament to the lad that "Kyogo v GG" is even being debated. They will probably both tell you it's "Kyogo & GG" and they will each play their part depending on the type of game. They are both match winners and they will both need minutes in their legs. I expect they will both play their part in this run-in

I’d have him on bench for RossCo game…
    Start with Kyogo…

    Reverse for Huns game…

6 points out of those 2 games effectively wins the league and puts us in a high.

Think that ship has sailed. Will be 31 when next season starts. He is still playing in MLS for Canadian side Montreal Impact.

Yeah if we win those 2 games it is done, we aren’t going to lose our last three and the goal difference will be such that it wouldn’t even matter.

If we win on Sunday and not suggesting we go in with the mentality of not getting beat but 4 points in that manner will be enough. It would leave us in only needing one win to likely win the league or a win and a draw to make it certain.

He's done well the big man. He's a hard worker too which bodes well with the fans.

He’s earned the start infront of him but right now I don’t either are first choice, it’s down to either one to earn the right to be starting ahead of the other minute by minute on the pitch. Can only be an amazing thing for us that.

Can't disagree with that and as it stands GG is in position to hold the jersey. The team needs to adapt to whoever is playing though, I feel GG gives us more options at the minute, possibly due to him playing more

It’s the adapting for me that’s the worry. We done it to GG at the start as well, played him like it was Kyogo up top. On the weekend we played Kyogo like he was GG. Both are very different, very good options. We need to be able to change it up instantly, depending on who’s there.

That might be down to not having both available in training for most of this season. Both have rarely been fit at the same time.

Or else that’s the excuse I’ll let them off with just now until it’s proven different.

Makes sense, some of our signings from Jan haven't played or even trained much with Kyogo so definitely will be a consideration, I'd expect next season to be different

Especially because I think both Hatate and O’Riley are far more suited to have Kyogo ahead of them. Especially O’Riley. He spots every run made and delivers the pass early. Kyogo’s movement has him making runs to get in at goal far more than anybody in the team.

Cannot be understated just how massive a boost it is to have him back currently..

So important with Kyogo looking a while off real peak sharpness..
