I like Taylor, and he's came on leaps and bounds under Ange.

No matter what you think of him, it's vital he has proper competition next season. We effectively have to shift our RB to LB whenever Taylor is injured, so it shows how poor the depth there is.

As I've said earlier, he's got a good footballing brain, very good even, but he's also very slow and weak, which majorly holds him back.

He was poor today, but he's had two fantastic games against them previously. Hopefully he's fit for next week and kicks on.

Taylor was rotten mate. Even suggesting McGregor was only better "at a push" is mental.

Those I mentioned had far better games than Taylor, and I wouldn't say any of them were particularly good. Just passable. Taylor is our biggest weak link by a mile and today showed that again. Too slow when faced with a winger with a bit of speed and a trick.

It's a game of opinions mate.

All of the papers giving ratings have scored him well (7 or above) so it doesn't look like I'm the only one that holds it.

I've already said I'd like a LB with a bit more athleticism to challenge/upgrade on Taylor but I think today he was the least of our worries.

Totally agree I'm not saying we would get anywhere near the quality but when you look at the numbers trent and robertson get in goals and assists a full back in this celtic team the way we play and in this league we should have full backs hitting double figures. Taylor has had 2 assists all season

He’s definitely improved this season but still far to weak, small, no physical presence, second best in 50/50 tackles and going forward 80/20 his crosses don’t pass the first defender, wee guy tries his heart out but just don’t think he’s celtic class in my humble opinion

Going to be honest, the way he celebrated his goal on Sunday made me really take to him to the extent I now feel awful critising him.

Yet at the same time I think we need a strong JJ type full back for that left side. There can be no room for sentiment.

Taylor's got a clever mind and a good brain but he just doesn't have the physical attributes.

Juranovic got a 7 in the paper for his performance at Ibrox in one I read. It was his worst game for us. The folk in the paper will have him as a 7 purely on the basis he scored our goal. Just like they had Juranovic as a 7 purely because we won the game at Ibrox.

Can't fault his attitude or desire. Can see he means well and gives his all. The unfortunate fact of it is he limited footballer who all to often looks our weakest of the regular starters. We need better

I think his footballing brain isn't all that, to be honest, and this is without wanting to bash him. A left backs footballing brain needs to consist of having positional play that means you're rarely caught out by whoever is running down your line. GT's entire line is routinely exposed by simple passes and he's left chasing shadows with slow pace.

I think he's a good lad, always trying his best. He's known to play good quite frequently, don't get me wrong, but he's very SPL level, meaning best placed against all teams that aren't Rangers but can deal with the huns on his day as well. As soon as we hit European level, it's night and day.
