They deserved it, sickening we never showed more desire when they just went to extra time a few days ago.
League is still the priority anyway and I think we've come on massively after last season and if anything are probably ahead of schedule. Still annoying though cause it was there for the taking.

 

Maddon is a biased * ! They stepped on and kicked the * out of us today and he ignored it. That was diabolical refereeing today, and to be expected. There should have been 2 double yellows=red for 2 Rangers players today.

 

We were playing like GG was on the pitch. Kyogo looked like a wee boy as we lumped balls up to him that the hun defenders could win in their sleep.

 

My worst fear, I don't blame you, my daugher goes with a tim but imagine hun grandweans, makes me sick

 

I am 67 and i hate getting beat,,,i hate it even more if its the huns doing it.

I am looking on the bright side , think what we were like at the beginning of the season, we have came on leaps and bounds , we have already won a trophy and the league is one hand away, we would never imagined we would have been in this position 4 months ago.

We had no physical presence up front or in midfield, at 1-0 up before they scored we would have taken Hatate off and brought on Bitton to shore the midfield up and manage the game out. Bitton gets a lot of stick but we don't have another player like him in the squad. I do think we missed him today even though he would not have started

 

Badly need more physical players, Giakoumakis was a huge loss.

O’Riley and Mcgregor where ok but can’t do everything.

 

This. You could see the constant * decisions affect Celtic's mentality. Then we get the goal and I'm not gonna lie I thought we would go on to score more. But Rangers showed more desire. I think our defense had a reasonable game but our attackers didn't make good decisions too often.

 

You know its bad when theyre worst player on the park is better than our best.

 

Lose and it's easy to take. We lost and deserved to lose for me today but what I cannot take is them wanting it more..

They looked fresher in extra time after 120 minute's the other day..

Spooked us whoever they pressed us high all day..

Were up for every 50/50..

Some of our lot were a disgrace today..

1 up and the chance to go 2 nil and game over late on and we completely crumble..

Don't even think we had a chance after that..

Nah, no much between the teams. If we're honest, that game could have went either way but they closed our midfield down pretty well.

However, that refereeing performance was unbelievable at times. Slowed any momentum we had at the right time for them, and helped put us on the back foot, particularly in the 1st half.

We move on and win the league.

Mentality, passion and desire totally missing today. Too many passengers. Unacceptable and I hope this is the boot up the backside for both management and players.

 

A treble within reach, they've just come off a European game that went to extra time, and we turn in a performance like that.

for me it’s not so much about us losing…

… than about them winning something.

we were the only ones who could realistically have stopped them winning the Scottish cup… Hertz won’t lift a finger ..

I can live without wining another treble.. watching them win anything is a passer though.
