    What sold me?

    Probably the change in how Celtic put out Ange and training sessions, the phrase we heard him say about we don't stop etc...

    I was always a believer that after the sheer levels on incompetence under Lennon and lack of any real training or post and pre match analysis, that if any manager came in and reintroduced these we'd win the league.

    But Ange has come in and exceeded every expectation and the moment for me, even though it was a loss is probably the first Betis game

    100% me too. I've not watched a single A-league game in the last few seasons (on television) and have not been to a single Greek Super League match this season - but I've watched every single Celtic match live (including pre-season) except two. I will imagine that will continue after Ange too.

    There's talk about beating the 69 game unbeaten domestic run of Rodgers. To do that we have to remain unbeaten for rest of this season, winning treble in process, then remain unbeaten for another 29 matches after that which would mean until feb next year and would also mean winninng league cup.
    That would also mean equalling Deadco's total of 115 trophies in 6 SEASONS LESS.
    Even counting Sevco title into that, winning double treble would mean BREAKING their record next season.

    I can’t see anyone beating that record. That was lucky we had a phenomenal manager and the tribute act who were probably still finding their feet. It was a phenomenal run nonetheless. If Ange ends up unbeaten the rest of this season, that would be 40 matches unbeaten and a treble… it would surpass what Rodgers done for me. Regardless of whether or not it broke the record or not. What Ange has done already is nothing short of phenomenal. Brendan, I still get mad at how he left us but for some reason, I think more fondly of him now. It’s in no way a parting shot because of the way he left but things fell into place for him here. A * of Desmond after the semi final defeat the previous year and a sevco trying to get used to playing with the big boys. It worked out well. Ange had NONE of that. What a guy man.
