Not digging any players out here as they've all had a great season,

We should always be looking to improve our first 11 and squad so where do you think we need to strengthen and whdyoo you think is good enough or could be good enough to be competitive in the CL groups.

For me a Centre half & CCV, Left back and a calm deep lying playmaker but that could still turn out to be Ideguchi.

2 centre backs, 1 if CCV stays. Probably 2 wingers, Inc Jota. A left back, I like Taylor and he still has a big role to play here but him and Scales isn't the ideal partnership.

Sign the players who are on loan and Cb and striker if one of them gets injured we have one left . If we keep everyone we have a great squad

Sign the two loanees and get a quality winger, left back and maybe a centre half in.

Agree with much of the above.

I.e. Presuming that CCV and Jota sign permanently, that leaves us needing 1 each of: CB, LB, and a winger (preferably a left-footer as we don’t have a lot of those).

It’s clear he is with the links to Scott from Bayern and there were rumours of precontracts being offered back in January to CBs.

Hopefully get a couple of good young talented players like Scott and a bosman or two to go with Jota, CCV and a left back option.

Boy in work reckons that the automatic entry into the group stage isn't 100% confirmed and that it is still dependent on how the co efficiency points end. Anybody know if that is true?

There are scenarios where we'd need to play a qualifier. I can't remember them from memory but they're pretty unlikely.

I think the only scenario in which the winner this season play a qualifier is if Villareal win the CL, which is extremely unlikely even if they're currently beating Bayern on Aggregate.

However, I'm sure I read somewhere that Russian teams might get barred from next seasons CL, which means we'd be guaranteed a spot no matter what.

I thought aslong as the winner automatically qualified via their domestic league then we are fine

    Need back up for Hart.

Would like to see Oluwayemi get a run if we've wrapped up the title.

This is it, the only way we don’t make it is if a team who has not qualified through their league wins the CL and Russian teams are allowed to be in next seasons CL.

As you say Villarreal look the main threat after the first legs but you’d hope Bayern can turn that around, Liverpool, Man City and Real all go through and the league winners will definitely auto qualify for groups.

If russia get unbanned, and villareal manage to win the thing then yes we would go into the qaulifiers.

Im sure we are ahead of russia now in the co efficient, I think it's just down to Villarreal not winning the champions league as they are not top 4 in spain
