By the way. I was fearing the worst in terms of us getting a red card today. However, I thought Collum was pretty good. We should have have a penalty first half with Maeda, but I think the one with CCV was a penalty also. Both he let go, so that evens that up. Outside that, I thought he let the game flow. He only brought out the yellow for genuine yellows, and didn’t let the hun crowd play a part.

 

Was anybody actually surprised that they threw broken glass onto the pitch? The only shock for me was that there weren't used syringes thrown as well.

 

For me, I was confident going into the game because we have such a good squad depth and have a better coach, but they will never have a better chance at putting the league in their favour than 1-nil up at 2 mins today. We showed enough mental strength and character today to put them away at their midden that we should be cruising to the league with them playing euro games midweek too.

They underestimated us and we're 32 unbeaten. Good luck to those * catching us now...

From my understanding of the rule it would have to be an intentional effort from the player to touch the ball with his hand/arm or if his arm was in an unreasonable position when contact was made.

Today was an excellent performance after an opening 5 minutes where we looked utterly chaotic and the game threatened to get away from us. Kudos to Callum McGregor for the first goal. His decision to take a run at the defence can't be underestimated. He could have played it safe; he could have just played a pass that helper tick things over. But he didn't. He looked to make something happen. I though CCV was head and shoulders above everyone. A man mountain. We have to get him signed up, that is crucial. Maeda was superb and his work rate is off the scale. He never stops running. One of the fittest players I have ever seen. There were only two question marks for me- Hatate didn't do great and we looked far better when Bitton came on and although Juranovic did well after about 30 minutes up until then he was all over the shop. All in all though what a day and what a performance. The league is ours to lose now and with Kyogo coming back he will help lift us again. Great stuff.

 

Aye i'm appalled that they never drowned the wee * too.

Today was magnificent. Ange's system is close to unbeatable domestic the now and will be hard to break down in Europe next season if we can keep CCV and Jota and bring in quality signings that will run their legs of for Ange. What a huge difference compared to the shitshow we witnessed only a year ago. The board deserve praise for backing Ange, but now starts the work to make us a force to be recon with in Europe again.

So many players deserve praise today, but hats off to CCV, Tam, Jota and Maeda. They made us ticking like Swizz clockwork.

 

Greg Taylor man, what a trooper. One of our best players in the previous derby, and then puts in another performance like that. Diving tackles, heading crucial balls out of our box, and utterly running himself into the ground. He may have his limitations, but heart isn't one of them.
