I'm actually not that fussed if he's out, as even though he CAN be a match winner, I think we need energy and drive in our entire midfield against them mutations.

O'Riley has a far better eye for a pass than Rogic imho.

I love big Tam but to say he’s not as good defensively as Tam, Tams defending is non existent, actually seen oriley won headers from corners and while granted both aren’t noted for defending, oriley does more backtracking and pressing than Rogic, oriley isn’t slow either whereas as silky as Rogic is hes certainly not as fast as oriley, big Tam has put the Huns to the sword quite a few times but oriley s only played 1 game against them so obviously he’s not going to have scored many against them , his passing and control is excellent

Tams a loss but guy saying oriley has nothing he’s better that than Tam is bit disrespectful to oriley who’s been absolutely excellent especially last time v Huns after basically getting flung into the team a day or 2 after arriving, no qualms about oriley starting

Tam Rogic is right up there for most interceptions and pressing this season mate, his defensive work is very underappreciated. O’Riley’s are very similar though, so good replacement all in. Good strength in depth.

If Rogic is out v the huns, then at least we won’t see a midfield containing Rogic and O’Riely.

The real downside is our engine room are all playing internationals except Tom. The upside is if he makes the game, then at least we have one fresh midfielder.

Defending is done in all sorts of ways. Tam has been lazy in the past but this season he's been great - wins a lot of ball.

O'Riley is the heir apparent to Tam and I do like him as a player, but he aint Tam (especially with the ball at his feet)

    Not yet.

All well and good, but can either of them score a dead ball chip? Doubt it..

I know alot of folks would be picking o'riley for this game but I think it's really important that we keep the ball and make it stick upfront and rogic is the best in the country at doing that so I'd like to see him start the game if hes 100% fit.

Yeah, makes you wonder whether people actually watch the games.

According to Ange everyone is fit except Forrest so imagine it will be either Rogic or O'Riley starting in the 10.

It really doesn’t, it’s not obvious until you watch it infront of you on the pitch. It’s not stuff that’s focused on or pointed out watching it on the tele, unless you’re sitting making sure to notice.

There’s fit and there’s being properly fit, both Kyogo and Turnbull won’t be full scale firing fit.

Giakoumakis deserves a start regardless, but Kyogo is a class above and he might be tempted, it’s why he started the cup final injured and he won us it. He’s Ange’s favourite by far, he loves him, he might be tempted to do it. He shouldn’t but.

Agreed on both Kyogo and Turnbull. I expect both of them to start on the bench.

I’m expecting a bench with Kyogo, Rogic, Ralston and Turnbull.

And all of them could start and be the best player on the pitch.

That’s ridiculous strength in depth, comparing the last time we went there
