They haven’t at all :giggle1: they played the exact same way they’ve played against us ever since they came back.

Even Marvin Bartley whenever he’s on Clyde constantly talks about their style and game plans. Sit deep, keep it tight and capitalise on set pieces.

They’ve a goal difference of -5. The league being as poor as it’s been in a long time, especially the collapse of Hibs and Aberdeen, has * teams in almost positions.

Livi are a team of complete hammer throwers.

Far from a new take here but * me, he has been able to build a squad in what, 7 or 8 months ? A squad that has 5 players left from the quadruple treble team and he has us top of the table with 8 games to go.... :ange2:

He takes all the credit for the win today, stuck to his guns and got his team selection and tactics absolutely spot on.

Ange made a good point about Maeda's pressing against St. Mirren and how by constantly putting their keeper under pressure, it prevented them from getting up the pitch and in and around our box. It was a similar story today (not just Maeda TBF, most of the players in front of Bitton pressed well). Everybody was calling out for GG to start, but Maeda really limited their ability to put us under any pressure outside of long throws or corners.

I'm sure I wasn't the only one that seen that team today and thought it was wrong.

    I was wrong. It worked.

Ange received the Craig Levein vote of confidence today. Finally, he has made it.

Given our issues at Livi I think in hindsight he made calls with that line up that no other manager would have.

And look at how it ended.

I would think that's evidence of him perhaps adapting a little to help the team play his way but account for the different variables and tactics he faces domestically.

Felt as though he had picked the wrong team. Delighted to be proven wrong.

When we win the treble. They should make a film about the big fella. Any suggestions on who should play him? James Gandolfini would of been good

Fabio would also be a good candidate.

Whoever was responsible for identifying and bringing Ange to the club deserves a medal. A lot of talk that it was actually Demot Desmond's son who suggested Ange. Takes a fair bit of balls and belief to appoint a relatively unknown manager, especially after the Eddie Howe farce. It could so easily have blown up in our face, its now looking like an inspired appointment.

Also evidence of the options he has available - different horses for different courses.
