[Matchday] Livingston v Celtic Sunday March 6th Sky Sports Football kick off 12Pm

Really important result …. Not just for the points …

Not sure of all the permutations… but if they make the cut …. could have to play them away again ?!? … so getting a decent win here is a mental victory as well not just for this season but next as well.

 

Looking at the team sheet I was perplexed. Good performance, night and day from previous since Motherwell game. Good Sunday

 

Absolutely brilliant win. I wasn’t arsed about the performance today, just wanted the three points, but the performance was good also. Much more like ourselves. Pressed the game much better and didn’t allow Livingston time to play out. It’s never going to be totally free flowing football due to the surface, but I thought we moved it pretty well. Balls into our box are still a massive worry though. We simply cannot defend them. The boy should score just before half time with a free header from about 5 yards out, and then the goal we lost is shocking from us.

Ange freshened the team up and it worked today. We have looked a bit flat in recent weeks. Chuffed to bits with that win like. Another goal ahead of the huns after the games this weekend as well, which could prove massive the way the league table is.

 

Thought Calmac gave a Regi Blinker masterclass today but besides that we were solid.

Good performance today, we matched them physically for once and didnt let their bullying tactics affect us, thats down to Ange making those changes, it shows he has learned . Disappointed with Jota and Calmac, I thought they were off it today. Taylor had a good game, his positioning was for the most part excellent. Bitton, Ralston,and Starfelt had good games, once Starfelt had sorted out dealing with the long balls. My MOTM was CCV, used his strength against them superbly and showed a lot of leadership.
I dont think we should underestimate how good a win that was today, to go there when we havent won in a while, but to win comfortably, puts out a message to the Huns. The Huns would have been hoping and expecting us to drop something today. This League is coming home.

 

Our best performance since Fir Park... much more like it. 30 down 8 to go. 90 points gets us the title IMO

That was a really good performance. Some of our big players looked really up for it. Rogic was excellent and jota first half was back to how we know he can play.

Not to get too carried away, but if we've had our bad spell and are getting back to top form then things are looking good for the league.

I watched sevco game yesterday and they were dreadful so all good at the moment.
