Didn't see the game but I was worried when I see we went into half time without a goal. 3 points is 3 points but we need to be more convincing.

No long in from the game. Hatate was dreadful and rightfully got hooked. Was so slow and laboured. Where was the hatate we saw in his first few games? The midfield in general was * in the first half and Ange’s subs were spot on.

Glad of the 3 points but Ange needs to expect more teams to just camp in and wait to be broken down. They’ll be happy with a point against us. I’d like I’d to play two up front. But if we don’t the midfield MUST have much better movement. I mean c’mon tae * pass and move, quick one twos are not new things nor rocket science.

And we still need to sort our corners. That one at the start of the second hall was a joke!

Anyway 3pts in the bag. On to the plastic pish.

Also, there was a cheer from the GB bout 50 mins in. I though St Johnstone had scored. Any idea what that was about!?

To be fair, we never looked like conceding tonight and they were defending well for the most part.

Hatate looked tired in the first half, could barely lift his knees up when running. Still like him as a player, needs to be rested accordingly, coming from a full season in Japan.

That was another slog tonight but the three points in the bag is the main thing. Don't know what's happening with the team (especially the Japanese boys) but they look right off the pace. Livi will be another hard slog no doubt and that wee baldy hun loving manager and assistant manager of theirs will have their team playing defensive as * to hopefully benefit their No 1 love - the huns

Grand old team to play for
Not vintage stuff, but there were quite a few positives tonight:
    • 3 points
    • No injuries
    • Forrest and Rogic looked lively when they came on
    • Scored from a set piece
    • CalMac got his first goal in ages
    • Starfelt had a really solid game
    • Dembele and Gucci got cameos
Hatate was awful though. He looks mentally tired. Think he could do with 2 or 3 games on the bench.

First half pedestrian, second much better. As always the goal takes the shackles off the team mentally and the 2nd killed it altogether.

In hindsight it was a lot more comfortable than it felt in real time but that’ll be a feature for the next 9 games with how much is at stake and the fine margins we’re now operating within.

Guy seems to slag someone off then they bang in a goal, he was giving big giakoumakis pelters after about half an hour of the Dundee game and he banged in a hatrick, hopefully he keeps it up

Painful first half in that we rarely looked like we were going to break them down beyond the great chance that Abadda missed. Second without being great was a big improvement and in fairness the subs particularly Rogic but also to an extent Biton and Forrest all made an impact. Again though I felt given just how much St Mirren sat in right from the kick off this was a game where we really missed Giakoumakis and his physical presence in and around the box. Having said that over the course of the 90 minutes we fully deserved the win and hey we tacked on another goal to the goal difference which given we lead there by +10 is effectively an extra point on our 3 point lead.

Really really need to find our zip again. Since the Motherwell game we've been so slow and severely lacking in movement and that 100mph ange ball style

Saying “We” from your sofa, while saying a guy who finished his season and came into ours with minimal time off shouldn’t be fatigued. Mental.

I'm fatigued with mental stress before we score so can only imagine the players. Think we're playing alot more Conservative and the pressures showing. However, were standing up to the challenge so far. Thats all that can be asked. A nice early goal or 6 would do wonders for mine and the players feelings.

Only 9 more league games so just need to push through. The fact Ange isn’t going off the head at some of our play suggests he might of tactically taken the tempo down a notch to then step it up for the run in.

    I doubt that though.

He looked superb when he first came here. You don’t go from looking superb to utter * over night because of fatigue. To me he’s a player who’s lost his confidence.

Over a month off is not minimal they finished near start of December and we had 3 week pay off aswell

The guy is still young and learning to adapt to his teammates and probably doesn’t have grasp of language that’s probably got more to do with it

I actually thought some of our football last evening was quite decent, definitely a step up from the previous weeks.

We got a scrappy opening goal, that's grand. I'd like to see more of them. We can't always break teams town with decent football.

We just need to keep tipping away.

St Mirren must be first team to time waste when they are 1-0 down...
