He's not a centre forward. Can't head it, doesn't like the ball into feet.

He looks like he could have plenty to offer but it's not going to happen if we keep playing him out of position.

His first touch is shocking for a player at this level.

So many times tonight he made a good run that wasn’t spotted. The service to him the last few games has been woeful. He works his * baws off.

Okay, nothing more. Makes some good runs but doesn't suit playing against teams camped in. He'll be useful enough but right now he's clearly our third choice striker.

Should have scored first half but completely missed the ball and Abada had a shot instead.

Probably would have had a goal if Juranovic just played a low pass instead of a high cross in the second half.

Don’t think anyone really came away from that game looking particularly good tbf so he’s not alone.

Rest at the weekend and get Giako back in.

Needs to get stronger. Beats players to the ball then just gets brushed off.

That cross Juranovic pelted out the park was shocking. Maeda was open with no one around him.

Had a good game. Never gave that St Mirren backline a moments peace and deserved a goal.

Absoloute cracking full blown samurai over head kick... ended up tame and at the keeper though but would've been cracking.

Systems not right for him against a pack defence. Seen him once near the end with a ball over the top where he burned the defenders but the ball was too heavy. Thats his game. Give him them and he scores.

Still think we've to see the best of him, reckon folk could cut him a bit of slack.

Wins a huge amount of headers for a player of his height, for any striker actually. If he can be coached to improve his heading accuracy then he'll be a decent asset. He has decent attributes. Just needs to be improved.

Played well tonight IMO. A real grafter who’s pressing would be better served if those around him harried are a similar pace and intensity.

Thought he would be our best signing of the 3 based on his highlights video. That mostly consisted of him running with the ball at defences with some space and straight for goal. He doesn't get an opportunity to do anything like that.

Might be better sitting just behind another forward with the ability to drop deeper and run at defences. But then he'd be competing with Rogic/O'Reilly too.

Looks like he good do with a decent goal to get his confidence up.

His touch and link play is poor but if he makes the right runs it’s down to our players to find him. Off the ball he was very good tonight, his pressing was effective and didn’t seem aimless.

He had a couple of chances he should have done better with and I agree with others I don’t think he is a striker that suits our system, would be more effective in a two or if we had a right winger who wants the ball a lot then playing there and him attacking the box more. Our issue is our starting right winger plays like that and our left full back options don’t naturally compensate for his lack of dribbling/ on the ball ability as they don’t really have much either.

Would be an asset in a front two, but missing huge parts of the game required to be a lone striker.

That said, he absolutely knocks his pan in for the team so it’s hard to be overly critical.

    * bizarre what he done, he was about 15 yards away from him with Maeda running into position and a tap in on a plate and he battered a high cross like that :43: utter stupidity

Can only think he was attempting to find Jota back post with it, which was 100% the wrong decision.

If he was trying to find Maeda it was a brutal attempt.
