We have a game on Sunday that is a lot more important that an away leg in this joke of a comp. Dont think it got anything to do with if we are capable of doing it or not..

    Not really.

Our two best wingers (only reliable ones), our captain, our best full back and best centre back are all on the bench.

It’s a half strength team, at best.

Didn’t see that coming at all. Very surprised at this also the fact he hasn’t changed the big mistake from the first game of Rogic and ORiley in midfield. If he was going to make wholesale changes surely drop one of them and play someone else.

This seems very un- Ange like.

CVV, Juravovic, Hatate, Cal Mac, Jota, Abada

To leave out those 6 key players. And to even play Scales over Taylor.

When we only need a 2-0 win to take it to Extra time.

It certainly feels like we've thrown in the towel when the mountain we need to climb isnt ridiculously high.

For me it's a sensible lineup...

If we can get a foothold in the game, we can introduce 5 subs..

I'm disappointed tbh. Reckon we could have put a full team out and I would have still been pretty confident of beating Dundee Utd.

Not bothered about resting our better players, but I don't understand why we're play O'Riley and Rogic together again.

That's a big reason why we lost the midfield in the 1st game. Could've rested one of them and chucked McCarthy in to give us another holding mid.

I can understand the lineup. Wanted us to go for it though.

I'm sure the players on the pitch will give their all though. Atleast we have a fair bit of height with Bitton, Ralston and Scales

He's putting a lot of faith in the squad. Time for them to step up.

This side took us to school a week ago ffs, people went mad when kyogo was risked in a dead rubber and ended up injured again.

    League is priority, hes learning.

Tbf our best result in the europa league was with a much changed “weaker” team! Only thing annoying in that is the orielly rogic patnership but , on the other hand i think ange may have looked at the amount of corners we had and may look to exploit them there as that is a good amount of height in that team

Your saying joke of a comp... what does that say about us if we get put out in the first knock out round of this supposed ‘joke of a comp’?

I’m fed up of us doing nothing in Europe

Really surprised by that, but I think it's sensible. Resting those who need it but enough on the pitch to potentially get us back in the tie by half time. If we go in one up I'm sure we'll see a few of the bigger names come off the bench. If we're down and out, no bother, guys got a rest and we focus on the league.

Some folk are going to get really angry about that line up but I actually think it's Ange being sensible for once.

I'd say being in the Champions league next season would be more appealing than a europa league tie.
Im disappointed he has put less emphasis on this competition but really it doesn't upset me.

This isnt a dead rubber though. I certainly believe we can win 2-0 against Bodo. Im just suprised we've thrown in the towel.

Why does it have to be either Bodo or Hibs rather than beating both?
