We don't even need to field a weak team, just need to be smart on who we play.

Welsh, Bitton, Scales, Taylor, Rogic and Forrest all sat against Dundee United, so we could ideally play them and give the rest a, well, rest. You could even argue about playing Jullien, give him 60 minutes in a game that doesn't matter as much as the league.

We could lineup like this, whilst resting players and still putting out a strong team

    Hart
    Ralston CCV Welsh Scales/Taylor
    Bitton McGregor
    Rogic
    Forrest Giakoumakis Maeda

O'Riley, Hatate, Abada, Jota, Juranovic and Starfelt all get a rest and are 100% for Sunday.

Rest CCV for me instead of Starfelt, Starfelt being Scandinavian will be used to playing on an artificial surface.

I think a defence of Welsh + Starfelt is asking for trouble. With CCV there it's still strong enough imo, plus I think Starfelt has played more games than CCV since the winter break, could be doing with a rest.

Really hope that Ange is smart with his team selection here !! Could still put out a team capable of winning the game but ideally rest players for Sunday

    Forrest maeda Jota

Couldn't really care less once we avoid injuries and don't get embarrassed. Would anyone genuinely take us going through Thursday at the expense of dropping points Sunday?

    Sunday team

    Hart
    Juranovic ccv starfelt Taylor
    Rogic McGregor hatate
    Abada GG Jota

Would have had rogic and O'Riley in reverse I just always fancy rogic to score in big away games

If we score first then the game is well and truly back on so.

We’ve been away to Leverkusen and Betis and put in brilliant performances so wouldn’t be surprised if we managed to pull it off tbh.

    Good question.

I personally would but I assume the vast majority of the support wouldn’t.

We’d still be top of the league and in control of our own destiny and we’d be in the last 16 with a chance of going all the way to another European final.

I’m envisaging Tirana full of Celtic fans, partying with the Albanian president, after a 3-2 win over Brendan’s Leicester.

Feels like a pressure free game can play either total freedom if we lose no big deal considering the position we are in but if we nick a first half goal it's game on. Saying that I would almost rather us lose than win 2-0 and have to go through a gruelling away extra time with hibs in mind.

I wouldn't sacrifice anything against winning the league this season

Winning the league this season is above anything else and dropping points now makes our attempt to win it more difficult

I believe Sunday will be an easy 4-0. Hibs now pass it out the back. They are not good enough for that against us.

Imagine when we pass it out vs peak barca. The same will happen. Easy pickings for us.

I’d leave a few of the big names at home to be honest. Hate it to say it but I don’t give a * about this game. The league is to important

We had our chance in the first leg at home to take this tournament serious.

We spunked it. We'd be better off just writing it off and keeping our bhoys fresh for the league.

Imagine Juranovic, or Mcgregor or Jota were to get a season ending injury. For what?

Would be nice to get a win even if we didn't progress, as long as we stay injury free il be more than happy.

Don't start Hatate, keep him fresh for Hibs match.
    Give Jullien a go.

That would be a nightmare scenario. If we’re level in added time at the end of the 90 hart should be instructed to throw one in his own net.

Just use a sub to send Bain in- it actually gives us a chance in a shootout.
